  1. Gotta thank the person who mentioned the deals on hkpro.  I pick mine up tomorrow :) Couldn't resist.
  2. I'm a huge Walther fan, so keep that in mind. As a lefty and long time P99 owner, I prefer the mag release. Love the trigger. It will have more "kick" than most 9's. Mostly muzzle flip, but it will feel like more of a handful than most 9's. Now, it's not terrible by any stretch, my small 13yr old can shoot it off-hand. Biggest problem I have is keeping it away from him when IDPA time rolls around. I'm kicking myself for not buying 2 when jetguns had them for <$500 shipped. Edit: For me, it is VERY accurate. I shoot it more accurate than my Gen4 G19 that I use for IDPA. Also, if you do shoot IDPA, like the XD the PPQ is considered ESP.
  3. Hey all, I stumbled upon some Federal Champion ar Wallyworld. Its 115gr, 1125fps. So power factor is above IDPA min. Apparently this is Wallyworld special. I'm now trying to find something in 124gr, 1045-1050 fps. Any ideas where to look? Thanks.
  4. Welcome. Are you on ETR also (for the motorcycle addiction)
  5. Listen to Alpha.. Not to resurrect an older thread, but no need to start a new one either. I did my 1st IDPA today with ORSA. The people up there are AWESOME. I can't wait to go back. Even after we were done, I was ready to shoot it all over again. Its gonna be a long month wait...
  6. Another XD vote. I have the G19 and XD (well, Gen1 HS2000 but same thing). The XD has a smaller grip and is a softer shooter. I have also heard the M&P is a softie as well. Then of course, the Walther PPQ, which is also on the small side grip-wise, but probably hits a little harder than the others.
  7. If it was free to get in, I would definitely go. Was there any good deals on 5.56 ammo? Some place in Johnsonville sells some Isralie stuff that people on ar15.com seem to like.
  8. +1 For Frontier. I took mine there. I'm not a coal creek fan. Frontier is worth the drive IMHO. Just got mine in the mail Tues, need to do the "Waly Walk" when I get a holster (being a lefty hurts sometimes).

    Gen 4 Glocks

I've personally had a few issues with my G19. 5 FTE's in 400 rounds. 4 with WWB, 1 with Hornaday XTP. Many more brass to the face. I'll call them tomorrow.
