  1. lol I have not...I've been thinking about that all this time. Unfortunately, the holster (Galco Kingtuk) that I ordered still hasn't arrived but the moment it does, you betcha I'll be doing the Wally Walk Bah...that's $20...that's a box of ammo Speaking of which. The Walmart over here on Clinton Hwy has 223 ammo for a decent price. 100 rounds for $27.76 (including all taxes) but it's the TulAmmo brand. They have another brand (American Eagle or something like that) that's $1 more per box.
  2. I seriously wish you could see all the holograms on it...the only parts that don't have holograms are the state flag at the top. Now I just hope I can find the holster's I want for a good price
  3. TN went with some new design as of 10/29/2010 I believe. It's got like 6 holograms on the front. There's a picture of the state and then it gradually turns into a star going from the bottom left to around the top right and then at the top of the star is the seal of the state of TN. Then there's like a bowtie or some kind of flower near the center of it. Across the top (oddly across the words Tennessee), is the word Tennessee written in some weird text that reads Tennessee across the top and bottom from right to left respectively on both sides. Then from the top left going through towards the bottom center is a musical bar with notes. I mean seriously, there's only like maybe an inch or two on this thing that isn't completely covered by holograms. My dad's doesn't have one as well and he got his in 09 but this new one has a white strip across the back below the barcode. Possibly...I dunno. I'll see if I can take a pic of it.
  4. So my HCP arrived today on Day 19. I'm excited that I don't have to keep watching the mailbox now Anyone else a little overwhelmed by all the holograms? Also, what's with the white strip on the back? Am I supposed to sign it or something? It looks like a bigger version of the white strip on the back of your credit/debit cards.
  5. Tomorrow will be Day 17 for me. So hopefully not too much longer.
  6. I can see them having their uses but not for daily carry. When hiking, hunting, mountain bike riding, or anything else outdoors where your holster would be incredible inconvenient. it would be great.
  7. The sensible thing to do is to hide and call 911. It's really a matter for the police to handle.
  8. +1 but at least it keeps a great discussion going
  9. Dunno if they are posted but according to their site
  10. I don't know personally but I'd also be interested in this.

    .357 Sig ?

It's not cheaper than .40 and I know that just by looking at the prices at Wal-Mart. It is reloadable but as far as popularity go, I don't know the answer there. Now if you don't reload your own .40 and are just looking to get rid of 100 of that brass for say free...I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands
  12. $400 tops for me and it's the Sig Pro only and that includes shipping, FFL and background check
  13. Horray...another convert to the Sig side If you get a chance to shoot the "Elite" model Sig's though, I would highly recommend it. The grips on them are amazing.

    makes me sad

I'm sorry to hear that man but it happens.
  15. I was looking at that Galco Kingtuck and the Comptac Mtac holster. I got to play with the Comptac one and found it in stores here for only $79.99 or $69.99...one of those two prices anyway. The Kingtuck is definitely cheaper coming in around the $50 mark but who knows. I've got plenty of time Thanks for the comments though
  16. So...after taking my time and looking things over, I decided to go ahead and get my HCP. I took my class at Coal Creek Armory and then went down to TDOT and waited for 2 hours to get called and then left and got my fingerprints done immediately afterward . It feels good to finally be done and now just waiting for it to arrive. I guess at least I'll have plenty of time to pick out a holster now or something .

    range day finally

I hope I'm free next time. I'd like to put 100 rounds through your AR and then take it home with me
  18. DSGArms.com has some pretty decent ammo deals going for some target ammo. I got 100 rounds of .40 for $29 which is far cheaper than Walmart now and until the end of the July, any order over $25 will receive free UPS ground shipping. Granted this isn't the best deal on .40 but their 9mm is something like $10 a box and free shipping over $25 as well. If you can find a better deal with shipping included (not reloading your own), please post it as well
  19. Not a bad selection but no hollow points except for the 180gr.
  20. What other online shops besides midwayusa.com sell bullets at pretty cheap prices. I've been wanting to find some 155gr or 150gr JHP rounds to load.
  21. Thread Necro! Apparently from another thread posted, he got his in 2 weeks.
  22. Sorry wasn't debating or trying to derailed the thread. Just was curious. I said "guys" because he said himself and others.
  23. Why do you guys advise against open carry?
