  1. I am willing to vote for Gary. I am NOT voting for Romeny/Obama
  2. With all the factors involved I just don't see the risk or expense going to a movie theater anymore.
  3. I call when I see those signs. I called Markman's Jewelers here in Knoxville and informed them that I came to there store with the intension of spending around 5k on an engagement ring but there sign prevented me from entering and I wasn't carrying that kind of money unarmed. They didn't seem to care so I guess I'm a small fish in their eyes. They actually did me a favor though. I found a MUCH better deal elsewhere.

    Trade or no trade

keep the Sig. I'm not a fan of the .40 anyway. Kind of like 89 octane gas. Pointless.
  5. Sounds like Hoffman's just south of Hartford CT. Always packed and seems understaffed. Prices are fantastic though.
  6. I hope you got a refund and left !
  7. You think it's bad here? Move to southern New England! Though not perfect, it's not that bad here.

    1911 gift

Colt would be my choice. Followed by Dan Wesson and Springfield. For the money it's hard to beat a Colt.
  9. I always liked him as a person and actor. Not fond of his music.
  10. Well this is why I won't vote for Romney. If you can't tell the truth and say it like it is, You're not my candidate.
  11. Well I heard a commercial on the radio where Dave Ramsey is backing Corker. Guess I can't listen to that radio show anymore. I sent an email to DR letting him know I will no longer listen to him.
  12. I heard the President of the company announced he is leaving and donating part of his severence package to a pro Gay cause. It was on the radio here last night. Not finding a link today.
  13. I like birds like that. They are smart as hell and hillarious.
  14. Amen! Bosch has been great. Hitachi and Makita next.
  15. Sounds like Chik-fil-a turned PC and gave in. Guess I can't eat there any more.
  16. I've dealt with KPD before. Personal experience. I do not hate all cops. I have had excellent, professional, and very friendly experiences with many cops.
  17. The shooter will be dead soon.
  18. LOL, probably not.
  19. Hope you recover soon and get back in the saddle!
  20. I do tree work. Unless you are willing to work for nothing, people aren't looking to hire you. People are holding onto their money very tightly. I can't say I blame them but I cannot work for the prices they are willing to pay. I also am a mechanic. I pride myself in doing excellent work the first time. I get lots of people telling me I charge too much so they take it elsewhere. I then get a call that the cheaper guy screwd it up worse or the repair didn't last. Can I fix his mistake for his low price? Sorry folks, you get what you pay for.
  21. I'm sure he's not really dead. I'm sure it's staged to get him out of the club or he's going under cover. still a great show.
  22. Yep. my thoughts exactly. I don't give them my business. years ago I asked to see an O/U shotgun. Kid behind the counter said he didn't have the keys for the rack so he called a manager who did. She pulled the gun and stuck the end of the barrels in my face while relocking the rack. I left and never gave them a chance at business again.
  23. I worked with a guy in Michigan in the late 90's. He asked for a ride home one afternoon so I obliged. on the way we had to stop at a rent to own place so he could make a payment on some jewelry. Afterwards I met his family. All his daughters called him by his first name. He said it was because he couldn't marry their mother because they would lose government assistance. He also told me he sold his food stamps down on the corner for 50 cents on the dollar to buy beer and cigarettes.
  24. Guns where cheaper in Connecticut while I lived there but everything else was at least double. I'll be fine back here paying a little more for guns. The purchasing process here is much easier as well.
  25. Congrats and good luck!
