  1. well you know i didnt think of a taclight...that might be useful for a shottie as well as an AR though honestly im usually not a big fan of lights.
  2. I think hes just giddy :-D I would be if i had the cash to spend...course for the money I might lean more towards a bargain Full auto something lol. Might not be buried with it...more like buried in it $$$ :-D j/k No thats a really nice weapon and if he treats it right probably go up in value down the road...be a great family heirloom to pass down.
  3. ever notice how tricking out a firearm tends to make the cost you have in it double? ;-D
  4. Alright so im wanting a front grip for my S-12 and plan on getting a Sig 556 or similar in the near future. My question is should I buy a standard front grip like this http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_UTG_Deluxe_Ergonomic_Tactical_Foregrip.html or since im thinking about gettin an AR equivalent get one that has a bipod like this http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_Command_Arms_Bi_Pod_Fore_Grip.html anyone have experience with this thing. I thought having the bipod feature might be handy on an AR obviously i wont use it when its on the S12. Thanks for the help guys!
  5. I knew I could count on you guys to keep me from wasting my money! Thanks!
  6. +1 Joe's great!
  7. I shoot a Saiga .308 so I could care less as long as it has a jacket ;-D I will let you know when I get to shoot some SA. The Lithuanian shot great.
  8. Thanks guys for all the info...I think I will start by clearing off the bench and buying a book...anyone reloading in the Knoxville area?
  9. Alright well that makes since then...forgive my lack of 1911 knowledge but putting it in that perspective I can see why you would spend the money. Very cool....plus you can keep this one loaded in a glass presentation case...I can see the small print now "in case SHTF break glass"
  10. Yeah being able to turn off the gas block is a pretty trick feature. G...did you get your nightvision scope yet?
  11. Wow nice...that thing will be quite gorgeous when done./// Not to pee on anyones parade but what in the world does he do that makes it worth $4600.00 not including the cost of the firearm. Does it shoot 1" or better groups at 25yds? I mean wow its gorgeous, but when spending $6,000 (labor + gun) I would expect something pretty phenomenal or a custom built pistol completely made in house.
  12. hahaha yeah that is the downside to IWB carry...always gotta find a place to put the pistola if its a medium size or larger.
  13. Yeah thats quite gorgeous...congrats!
  14. ok thanks for clearin that up. Yeah I still dont know what Sig was thinking with a right side charging handle...since what like 80% of the population are righties?
  15. open carry is usually more comfortable and you can use more generic holsters but im a CC kinda guy....now come winter different story.
  16. What are these tweaks you speak of?
  17. Yeah thats what I was thinking too, but it looked interesting.
  18. Whats the deal with these firearms...anyone have any experience with them. Link to one is here: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Robinson_Armament_XCR_7.62x39_Rifle.html
  19. Im sure this has been answered somewhere but im lazy. Whats are good items to get started with and what books/dvds do you guys recommend I watch prior to? I would rather not grenade any of my firearms. Links, prices, and info are very much appreciated.
  20. haha thats a good one.
  21. I think XD would be worth paying the extra $100 for just because if you got tired of it you would be able to resell it much easier.
  22. Thats a nice lookin smiff you got there!
  23. Is that the Minotaur Comptac? I have a comp-tac for the P229 but it doesnt have the leather backing...while it hides well I cant say its comfortable when not standing...also since the one side is pressed against my back with no material (except for the kydex covered area) I have noticed surface rust on the mag release of my sig
  24. Yeah I have a 225/P6 but its not much lighter or smaller then the 229
