  1.   They'll have a place in paradise and you'll be burning in hell.  That's all they're interested in.  Just ask them.  I grew up in the wrong church with the wrong people.

Right now I'm ordering my juice from Amazon. They have these Frontera kits which are eligible for Amazon Prime, so I get free shipping. Only $45 for a 6 gallon kit, which is the cheapest I've found shipped. This past year I've made their Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and Cabernet Sauvignon. I was amazed at the quality at bottling, so time should improve it. I've made a couple of Winexpert kits and these all turned out better. I'm going to stack these deep this year in case the prices go up or it comes off of Prime.
  3. So you wouldn't help innocent, unarmed people because you can't be hailed as a hero like a police officer would? You think that should be the motivation for preserving life and protecting those who can't protect themselves? Also, to your comment about being shot by police, of course it's possible. However, it's also possible you'll be shot by the bad guy. If you're willing to risk being shot by a bad guy to protect innocents, why wouldn't you be willing to risk being shot by the good guy? The end result is the same. I just can't fathom standing by while innocent people are murdered and having the ability to stop it, yet only being concerned about myself and letting them die. Maybe I'm just wired differently than many of you. Maybe I was raised differently. But I can't believe you'd live your life without extreme guilt if you did something so incredibly selfish. For those of you with families, you aren't there 24/7 by their side to protect them. I know I'm not. How would you feel if your wife or child was facing certain death, and the only person there who could stop it said, "F*** them, I gots mine!" I just can't fit this way of thinking into my head. It's cowardly. I mean that.

Meh, my cheapo wine is drinkable at bottling. It does taste better after 6 months, but it's just fine 6 hours after bottling. With the cheap stuff, aging will only go so far to make an improvement in taste that can be noticed. I make this stuff out of Welch's frozen concentrate.
  5. So maybe a billboard in their native language ain't such a bad idea. Maybe get a few converts over to the fun side. Side note, I was cleaning out an office the other day and collecting up material that needed to be burned, and my Muslim counterpart was giving me a hand. He opens up the desk drawer where there is a Bible and just says, "This too?" So I give him a hard time and tell him, "No, you can't burn the Holy Bible!", where some folks down the hall could hear. So he gets all butt hurt about it because Muslims also believe in the OT and NT, mostly, and therefore also consider the Bible to be sacred. So all we need them to do is forget about the 3.0 version and come back to the old school. It's easier and more fun.
  6. If you can't effectively pistol whip someone with it, it isn't a 1911.
  7. Oh I have knocked plenty back with my Muslim fighters. Problem is they're secretive about it and ashamed due to the culture. They can't handle their booze though. It's like drinking with college kids. They like their whores too. Saudis are the only Muslims I've drank with that can hold their liquor. They're not as shy about it either, but they also don't really believe in Islam. I've had a Saudi openly explain to me that Islam is a crappy fairy tale. This was in Allah's blind spot, otherwise known as the Emirates. He'd have been tossed in jail for saying that in Saudi. They're pretty bold in UAE, although it's still a crime to talk negatively about the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)... heh.
  8. Trust me, Arab Christians drink. I've been to a couple of Christian weddings in Iraq. First off, they party better than most American weddings I've been to. Secondly, they drink.... a lot; and they want you to drink more. Third, if I hadn't already met the love of my life, I would have walked out of one of those weddings with a new wife.
  9. It's a Christian billboard.  I can't read the last several lines because it's whited out by the light, but based on the way it's written in classical Arabic, I'm assuming it is a Bible verse.  The top line is simply a question which loosely translates to: "Hey brothers, are you looking for true peace?"  The line just below it just says Christ, but has God (Allah) on the end.  I'm not familiar with how Jesus and God are referenced in Arabic, so I'm assuming it is some reference to the divinity of Christ?  I dunno.  Definitely not Muslim, though.
  10. Businesses should have absolutely no problem with this law. If gun free zones make people safe, then there are no worries about people being victimized in those gun free zones and suing the posted business, right?
  11. Simple equation: every time an active shooter had been challenged by an armed citizen, innocent people stop dying. Folks can "what if" and wargame in the pretend world of gun forums and Facebook, but this is the reality.
  12. Legally, no. However, it is the moral obligation of every able bodied male to protect innocents. Yes, you may be killed. You may be sued. You may have to explain your actions to a jury. All of these things a man should be willing to risk in order to protect the lives of innocent people. I'll add that there is a very big difference between an active shooter and armed robbery. An active shooter is trying to kill people. An armed robber just wants stuff. Deciding not to engage an armed robber may be a safer choice for the lives of the innocents in the immediate area. For an active shooter, there is no question; all bets are off. Everyone will die if someone doesn't intervene.
  13. Hillary? Charges? Bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....
  14. I use the Gun Inventory app on my iPhone.  I like that it's backed up to the iCloud, so the information is there in case my phone takes a dump.  The app stores photos as well, so I have close up photos of the serial numbers stored in the app along with all the written information on the firearms.  You start to realize that you're a hoarder once you enter all your information into this app.
  15.   Watching bad guys become Scooby snacks is one of my favorite things.  Also, watching criminals who can't properly run because their pants are falling down... haha!  Idiots.  You'd figure that, due to their occupation, they'd wear clothes more appropriate for eluding law enforcement.
  16. Canine training.  You can see him feed the dog the arm, and, though the video is poor quality, you can see the definition of a hidden sleeve under his sweater.   Good training though.  The dog has to be run through these scenarios regularly in order to perform appropriately on the job.  Despite the dramatic story, the dog isn't barking because it "senses" something.  It's barking because it's stemmed up and wants to bite.  Barking is a way to alleviate the stress built up waiting to bite.
  17.   I have heard bad stories about their customer service.  Luckily I haven't had to deal with it.  I have to say, I absolutely love my Kimber.  Mine is very lightweight, an incredibly accurate shooter for a 4 inch barrel length, and sexy to look at.  Only complaint is the finish on the lower receiver.  I'm not sure if I just picked a bad year to order mine, because I have a buddy with the ultra version of mine and his finish is done right.  On my pistol, all I have to do is look at it and some of the finish will chip off.  Since I use this as an EDC much of the time, it gets banged around a lot.  I fill in the chips with a paint marker.  For what the pistol retails for, I shouldn't have to deal with that nonsense.
  18.   You need to get yourself a Llama.  I only shoot mine to show people what pieces of garbage they are.  I've never put a mag through mine without a FTF.  I'm not going to smith it because it isn't worth it; it will never be used for anything other than a sentimental hunk of metal.   I've also been lucky that I haven't had bad luck with firearms.  Only thing I can recall was having issues with a mini-14 I used to own, but I think that was due to the aftermarket magazines.  The factory mag never malfunctioned, but nearly every aftermarket high capacity magazine had the occasional doublefeed or FTF.   I also had a Sig 226 that would stove pipe nearly every round when shot by a female.  Limp wristing really messes with that gun.
  19. I remember when Kimber 1911s were sought after. I've had mine for over 10 years now without any problems. Whenever the name Kimber pops up now, it seems it is to ridicule them for having unreliable weapons. Are they really as unreliable as people make them out to be? Did I just get lucky with mine?
  20. Well I'll be damned. I always thought they were owned by the same parent company. I guess I heard it somewhere and never thought different.
  21. The "1 like = 1 prayer, ignore if you love satan" posts are absolutely the worst. I have blocked every family member and friend that regularly posts that crap. It's some form of attention whore whilst simultaneously attempting to shame others for not participating in something completely pointless and inane. What's worse is they actually think they are accomplishing something positive. Jackasses.
