Hello from Fayette county
-
Memphis TV channel 13 reported some info on the Kawasaki shop incident. I know the man who carried in to the store. Went to Bartlett PD until bail paid. At court received probation and fine. Could not carry until probation ended. Had to reapply for permit. Didn't get weapon returned until after court hearing after probation ended and PD did a TICS check. Lawyer fees $5k, probation a little over 2 years.

Same here, with "they used a generator". It was mounted to the trunk and was actually an inverter.

I also live in Fayette county. Wilson Well installed by new well pump a year ago. It is all electronic and 240 volt. My 5000kw, 120/240v generator will not run the well pump. Electricity was too "dirty" as my electrician said. Many newer fridge and freezer have all electronic controllers.

Vehicle pistol mounts/holsters by Gum Creek
TN_Jim replied to tercel89's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Very well built, adjusts to different size handguns. I use the thumb brake, the brake took a a little trial and error. Works good now. I first had setup for double stack, now resized for single stack. Worth the price. I was able to use the hooks without using using screws. I did enlarge/spread a gap in the plastic panel. -
Vehicle pistol mounts/holsters by Gum Creek
TN_Jim replied to tercel89's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have a Gum Creek, but mounted it to the console of my car. The holster is by the driver's right knee, easier to reach than under steering wheel. -
In the Memphis area consider: Orion Federal Credit Union or for more of West TN area First State Bank. 1st State' a home office is Union City, TN. They have branches in many areas of West TN including Collierville.

I have not seen the pistol nor primer strikes. I have plans to visit him soon, then I will know more. In this post I was making sure he was using the correct ammo. Thanks for the suggest as I plan that to be my next step.

Thanks for the replies. About five years ago. he used the .32 auto ammo. The pistol fire was not reliable. Then he took the pistol to a gunsmith, who cleaned and inspected. Gunsmith told him .32 auto should work. The pistol didn't shoot any better. It was then placed in original leather holster, wrapped in a hand towel and placed on the closet shelf. I was not gun knowledgeable five years ago. Early this month he tried to shoot again. Same unreliable firing. I will purchase some .32 ACP to try. Thanks for your help.
