  1. If you think SMLEs are ugly, wait until you get into Berthiers but seriously, I hope you find a nice example. They are neat old pieces and a lot of fun to shoot, I love mine
  2. I have for sale one 1939 Tula manufactured 91/30 Mosin Nugget. This is rifle was brought in by Molot in 2013. I bought this, cleaned it and kept it in its box. I have never fired this rifle, but the bore looks pretty good, and it’s not counterbored. Stock has some dings and scratches that are typically associated with a refurb M91/30. $340 Lenoir City or Maryville meet.
  3. I am thinking of trading my Ch.d.A. K98. It’s a pre war made gun, and a prototype of sorts from what I understand, that would become adopted or designated as the K98 (with some small changes) later on. Apparently, the Ch.d.A. stamp stands for Chef des Ausbildungswesen (Chief of the Training Service) and was used by the SA. The rifle is not matching, and the barrel is in poor condition. I’m assuming it’s been fired a lot if it was used as a training rifle. The stock is in pretty good condition with no cracks, and the bluing is also in pretty good shape. Comes with a reproduction sling. I am looking to trade for other military surplus firearms. Really looking for US service weapons such as the 1903 or M1.
  4. I will add Centerfire Systems and Atlantic to this list. They don’t always have the best deals but if there is a promo for free shipping on ammo, the price you see is the price you pay. Both GTG in my experiences
  5. I have 21 rounds of .250 savage ammo that I have no use for. Not sure where I acquired this, maybe it was my grandfathers, not really sure. It is free to whoever wants it. I go from maryville area to Roane county for work, so meet up in that area somewhere. There is some corrosion on some of the cases, but I’m sure it’s all still usable ammo. Looks like mixed Winchester and Remington.
  6. Yes, PPU is readily available. I purchased some last fall for around $1.50/round
  7. I have for sale, an M91 Carcano Moschetto Carbine. I believe that is was manufactured in 1936 at the Terni arsenal in Italy. It is chambered in 6.5x52mm, and comes with one en-bloc clip. Seems to be in overall good condition, and still has a little cosmoline/grease on it. Asking $200 for the rifle. Thanks for looking!
  8. It’s not great. The lack of cheap Russian ammo has sent the price through the roof. It’s been running .45cpr minimum on ammoseek before shipping/tax.
  9. I have for sale or trade a Type 56 SKS in 7.62x39. It is in original configuration, and all serial numbers I see are matching. Hammer forged chrome lined barrel. These imports were thought to have have come from Albania, and there is a little bit of trench art on the stock. I have had this one for a while and put maybe 80 rounds through it with no issue. It is a great shooter, just selling off some of my duplicates. Asking $500, or trade for other milsurps, or a 16” Mid-length upper. I am in the Maryville area. Thanks for looking!
  10. AKfiles would be the place to check out. Nice rifle!
  11. I'd keep the 4" just in case you ever want to carry, or throw in the glovebox.
  12. You don't want a first gen N-PAP. They had a single stack bolt and trunnion. If you're buying a new N-PAP from a vendor, you'll be gtg. One thing you should be aware of is that the Serbian AKs do not feature standard AKM length handguards, and they also have a non standard stock. So, your options are limited regarding furniture. They also do not have chrome lined barrels or bayo lugs if that's important to you. They do have cold hammer forged barrels, though, and that's a plus. I'm going to get an N-PAP under folder here soon. I have had an N-PAP, and they are great. There are some very high quality AKs coming out of Serbia right now.
  13. I've used some of their buckshot before. Can't remember if it was 2.75" or 3", but either way it functioned fine!
