  1. I hadn't yet looked into it enough to realize Hulu was no longer free. We're currently paying about $70/month for Comcast cable and internet services, and that's about to increase to around $90/month. Our cable and internet plans are their middle of the road offerings, nothing too fancy. We could change plans to the cheapest they offer, but I am wondering their 3 meg internet service will be sufficient for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. If we still have to pay monthly subscription fees for all of these other services, I'm not are the savings are going to be worth switching.
  2. I've often wondered what happened to him.
  3. Yeah, I'm not looking to break any laws to watch a little TV. We don't watch much TV at all, but I'd like the ability to watch it if I want to. Guess we're keeping the cable.
  4. I've seen many devices that will allow you to watch movies an television programs without paying a monthly cable bill, but do any of these devices allow you to watch TV shows and events while they are actually being broadcast, or can you watch the shows and events at a later time and date? In high definition, of course.<br />
  5. :biglol: No problems here, either.
  6. I'd imagine it would be cost prohibitive to have someone / a group of people digging into why every person has been denied the purchase of a firearm, and if they were intentionally and knowingly trying to pull a fast one. I suspect a vast majority of those denied are either errors in the systems or honest mistakes. I don't imagine there's an overwhelming number of convicted felons who wake up feeling as if today is the day they'll be lucky enough to slip through the cracks of the  background check system.
  7. Shooting into the sky is not safe.
  8. Here's a good comparison video.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwU9nzrfDBY
  9. I noticed that it even happens while I'm still signed in. For one reason or another, out of the blue, the system decides to check "Just Items I Follow".
  10. I prefer visiting TGO via Tapatalk over the regular mobile version, especially when it comes to posting, editing a post and adding photos. I'm not sure if there is a difference between the mobile versions when viewing with Android vs. Apple, but it can sometimes be a real pain to post and edit with my Galaxy SII.
  11. Same here. Started yesterday. I have to reset them every time I sign in. This is what worked for me.
  12. I've tried several, but none that I cared for. I'm not much of a wine drinker at all, but I do love that stuff. I was really looking forward to buying it locally.
  13. Villa Alena Moscato d’Asti is the wine I'm talking about.   http://www.traderjoes.com/fearless-flyer/article.asp?article_id=861
  14. I'm pretty sure I just saw one of these at Guns & Leather's Greenbrier location.
  15. This really sucks. Trader Joe's sells my favorite cheap wine, and I was hoping I'd be able to buy it. Looks like I'll have to resort to begging my family to bring me some when they visit.
  16. Built like a tank. Heavy as one, too.
  17. You can opt out of most junk mail and spam.
  18. Welcome to Chicago. You couldn't pay me to live there again.
  19. Some people/retailers are still jacking up the prices, and Able Ammo has been one of them keeping the Cheaper Than Dirt trend.
  20. Only if the socks have plastic/vinyl bottoms for awesome sliding action.

  22. Spent a few hours at the range today with my 14-year-old daughter. She like Dad's new AR more than her pink Ruger 10/22.
  23. Funny you mention this. I've been a member at Gallatin Gun Club for a handful of years, and no one has ever wanted by brass....until today. A very kind gentleman noticed we were packing up for the day, and he politely asked if he could have my .223/5.56 brass. I don't currently reload, but knowing how valuable that stuff is these days, I was actually going to keep it. But since he was kind enough to ask, I didn't have a problem giving it to him.
  24. I chose this one ( http://www.harrisbipods.com/HBRMS.html) and the Rota-Pod. I chose the Harris for their reputation and warranty. I chose the Rota-Pod, because I wanted the ability to turn the gun left and right without actually moving the bipod.
