  1. If/When I build another AR, it's going to be in .458 SOCOM. They're not cheap to shoot, but they are awesome.
  2. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the term "White-Hispanic" was created for this story. I can't say that I'd ever heard that term before this story broke.

  6. So many great selections have already been mentioned, but here's a few I'll add. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNHlVo0cPa8
  7. What time is dinner?
  8. David at D&T Arms did say that the pink went well with my eyes.
  9. Ouch! What part of your leg did you break? How exactly did you manage that?
  10. Thanks to D&T Arms for handling the transfer ($15 TGO Special), extra mags and DeSantis Nemesis holsters.
  11. Tried sushi at Fulin's in Hendersonville last night. We weren't very impressed, even for Tennessee sushi.
  12. If someone is simply following you (even if you feel like it's been for too long) and you blast them in the nose, you're going to jail. If Zimmerman's account of what transpired that night is true, once the kid broke the law by physically assaulting him, all bets were off. Whether or not Zimmerman is being truthful is a completely different story. I wasn't there, and I've read that multiple witnesses are giving accounts that contradict each other. If things went down as Zimmerman and at least some of the witnesses claim, I don't think he broke the law. If you want to argue whether or not he should have allowed the situation to escalate to that point, fair enough. But following someone through your neighborhood his not against the law.
  13. I've yet to find anything that Conrad can't or won't do. He's the only person I let work on my bike.
  14. I use TNT Performance Dyno and/or Cycle Gear.
  15. Of course you can speak, but us sheep don't have to agree with your gospel. It's nothing personal, so don't sweat it. If you read enough on this site, you'll find that many of us disagree on any given topic, on a fairly regular basis. This site brings us together as firearms owners/enthusiasts, but that hardly means we always agree with each other all of the time, or even most of the time. Heck, we can't even agree which caliber is superior, 9, 40, 45, etc.
  16. True. But as disturbed as I was by his rationale, I couldn't focus on much more than the random capital letters.
  17. Why not just use ear plugs? That's what I use most of the time.
  18. Did you go yesterday or today? I was there yesterday when the doors opened, and I saw several. They must have been sold or those vendors were no longer there when you arrived.
  19. It's difficult to take someone serious when they capitalize random words.
  20. Yes, if asked by a LEO for your permit, you are required to show it. You can pay at the pump, have someone else pay for you, leave your firearm in your vehicle, or conceal and go in to pay. I pay at the pump, so I can't tell you what percentage, if any, gas stations are posted.
  21. Yeah, there were a few empty tables on the far-left isle. I just assumed no one wanted to be next to Voldemort.
  22. I didn't go back today, but maybe some vendors decided to leave early? Or did it just suck? When I went yesterday, it seemed to be on par with any other show in the mid-state area; nothing to brag about.
  23. Welcome. There is nothing illegal about Open Carry in Tennessee with a permit. But when you choose to carry openly, being harassed is the risk you take. Assuming you are stopped by a decent LEO, you shouldn't be "detained" for any longer than it will take to check you carry permit.
