  1. I don't have any actual pictures, but I have a '99 Nomad 1500 just like this. Well, just like this, with the exception of the engine. Mine doesn't have one. I'm in the process of locating a 2001 or newer 1500 or 1600 engine for it. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but I got such a good deal on the bike with a toasted engine, I just couldn't pass it up.
  2. Congrats on the new Baby!
  3. That video was nothing more than a depiction of three ignorant douche-nozzles spewing factless rhetoric.
  4. I took my HCP course at the same place, and they tried to squeeze the $50 out of us, too. Along with shirts, hats, and even some BS gun safe thingy. They were a great bunch of guys, but I wasn't impressed with that aspect of the class.
  5. Yep! I've heard some people complain about BoA, but I've been with them for several years, and not a single issue. They even instantly credited my account almost $800 when I told them someone used my banking info to pay several cell phone bills.
  6. Yes, I use Bank of America, and that's how their ATM's work. The copy of the check actually shows up on the screen before it prints out. It's possibly more of a "scan" of the check, but all the same, you get a copy of the check on the receipt.
  7. I don't generally make deposits via the ATM machines, but the very few times I have, I was issued a receipt with the exact dollar amounts. If I deposit a check, a photocopy of the check is on the receipt. I would try the local branch manager, and if that didn't work, I'd do my best to get someone of authority at their corporate office. Once you've made the deposit (assuming you have proof of said deposit), it should be their problem.
  8. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  9. Personally, I'd go with the Springfield.
  10. CONGRATS! No need to wait for the holster. You can always carry Mexican Style to your local Wally World. We'll understand.
  11. I've seen them at the gun shows. Unless you're wearing it under an open shirt or jacket, the draw would be far too slow, in my opinion.
  12. WOW! That's real bad!
  13. Smyrna is a bit better, IMHO.
  14. Tinfoil hat business is doing well, eh?
  15. I've never had a single issue with frangible ammo.
  16. Still waiting on my 500 rounds of 10mm from Georgia Arms. Placed the order on 3/30. Whatever the wait, it can't be as bad as the wait for my PMAG's. Been waiting on those since Dec. 21st of last year.

  18. I have one, and cut the barrel down to 18 1/2" for home defense. It's not my primary HD weapon, but I am more than confident it will do what I need it to do, when i need it to do it. 6 shot (2 3/4") magazine tube should be plenty for most situations. Just a shade over 150 shells through it, and it's been just as flawless as any other shotgun I've owned. I purchased mine from Academy Sports for $159.
  19. Those are some great videos. Thanks for sharing.
  20. That seems to mean very little to so many.
  21. Just like they can restrict you from having a pets, boats, etc. on the property, they can restrict firearms.
  22. Of course I can catch a speeding bullet.
  23. I'm a fan of all full-size (4"-5") XD's. My EDC is a 4" XD40. For me, it's the perfect carry weapon. I've tried others, but nothing comes remotely close. Nothing wrong with the .45, but I like the few extra rounds in the .40 S&W.
