  1. What would be the legal definition of "Motor Vehicle" be? Would it be only a car or truck? Would a motorcycle with saddle bags qualify as a "Motor Vehicle" therefore allowing the legal carrying of a loaded weapon under the new law?

    Other hobby

Back in the early 90's it was football cards. To the tune of a couple hundred thousand. Just kinda lost interest. The new stuff that they were flooding the market with was crap and the older stuff was too expensive and hard to come by. Then came WWE wrestling figures. Had a couple hundred of those. When the family started growing, space started getting scarce. Unopened packages take up a lot of space. Gave most away to nephews and friends kids. I do still have a couple of box fulls. Now no collecting just motorcycling.
  3. I was thinking I couldn't take my power drill in there.
  4. Nice car. I think you will enjoy it. We have two. The wife drives an 07 G35 sedan and my daughter drives an 03 G35 sedan. Nice power and comfortable ride. The only thing I can think of bad is the 03-04 Models were prone to the Bose system going out. Without going too far into it, the sound system is somehow tied into the wiring for the A/C unit and its not just as simple to replace it. Lots of info on it on the G35 driver forum. Someone broke into my daughters and damaged hers and it cost about $1200 for insurance to replace it. Other than that, both have been great cars. Enjoy it.
  5. I believe you all are right. I wasn't even thinking about Subaru. Closest thing i found was a 77-78 Subaru Leone wagon. I think you called it Raoul.
  6. My son plays some kind of game on his phone where random pics of cars pop up and you have to guess what kind.A lot of older cars and odd ball cars pop up. This one seems to have everyone stumped. Including me. I was thinking maybe an old Opel station wagon. I could not find an exact match on google. Anyone have any idea?
  7. Link is broke. Will try to fix.

  9. One of my favorites is when your dealing with older cars that only had 5 digits on the odometer. No matter how old the car is or what kinda shape it's in, they never have over 100,000 miles on them. They will flat out tell you it's never been rolled over. Really.... the car is 25 years old and you have had it for two month's and you are swearing up and down its original miles.
  10. Is it really worth it? No disrespect intended but it's a 14 year old Toyota Corolla. It was totaled out. Meaning it would cost more to fix than it's worth. You bought it back I'm sure for a little of nothing. IMO just drive it till the wheels fall off then junk it. If your car is anything like ours was,it had hundreds of hail dings all over it. Do you really want to take the time or pay someone to sand that down?    If your really bent on trying to make it look a little better a cheaper and easier way is to just hit up the Pull-A -Part and start replacing panels. Corrolas are plentiful enough you should be able to find everything you need.If I was you, I would just forget about it and drive it. Just my two cents.
  11. Major Kong, might I ask what the knife is 3rd down on the right side?
  12. Yes,it's the old Motorola building.
  13. I heard a commercial this morning on the way to work about a gun store in Alcoa. New Bern Arms. Turns out, it is right up the road from my work in the same industrial park. It sits right behind West Chevrolet. Odd place for a gun store. In an industrial park with no major road frontage and no signs. I stopped in there on my way home and was pleasantly surprised. It is a very small store but they make the most out of the space they have. Pretty good selection of firearms. I counted over 120 handguns on display from all the big mfg's. Maybe 50-60 long guns. Several tactical shotguns and several AR platform rifles.Pretty busy too for such a small out of the way shop. Didn't get a chance to really look over their prices to see how they compared. They even had some .22 LR ammo in stock. So far from just a quick in and out visit, it seemed like a good shop. I'll stop back by next week when I have more time. If anyone else has been there please give us your feedback. They said they just opened up in September. No web sight yet but they do have a Facebook page. Check it out. www.facebook.com/NewBernArms
  14. GM is so close to my house that it was nice just to go in and browse around the guns. The one thing that they had going for them was there selection. Good to go in and hold several different makes and models to see which one you wanted to purchase..... elsewhere! Now it's just a hassle. Heck, you gotta get a number wait for them to call it then watch them get irritated when you want to see a few different models and downright nasty if your not actually going to buy something.
  15. I think it's been open for about a month now or a little longer. I was in there about two weeks ago and he said they been open for about two weeks. So about a month. I just thought it strange to open a new shop in a ( I'm sure) high strip mall rent area with such a small selection and inventory. When I was in there they had maybe three .22 based rifles, two or three Core based AR rifles an old Garand about three hunting rifles and about three shotguns. Their handgun showcase was small. Maybe three sections holding about 30 handguns if that. One section being Glocks, one holding quite a few Taurus models. Prices seemed average. Seems to me you would have to move a good little bit of inventory to stay in that area.
  16. We did away with cable a couple of months ago. It was getting way too high for the amount of channels we actually watched. We have a newer tv and bought an amplified antenna. We get all local channels in HD plus about 10 more. The more we play around with it the more we get. We also have Netflix for movies and tv shows. We could also download free  movie sites to our tv such as Crackle, Hulu and Redbox. On top of that we also hook up the laptop to the tv and stream all kinds of stuff. Our total monthly bill now is under $10. That is for Netflix. I can honestly say I don't miss the cable at all.
  17. Another one here that hops on the motorcycle and cruise the tension out.
  18. Yes, and Zoe Saldana is pretty easy on the eyes too.
  19. It's the name I go by in the MC I ride with.
  20. I ride a Suzuki M109R. Which is one of the most powerful cruisers out. I have it and all three of my automobiles insured through Farm Bureau. I have had them for years on all my cars and several motorcycles. Never had a problem. Well a friend of a friend was needing money bad and I bought his Yamaha R6  for a little of nothing. Had the wife call to add it on to insurance and our agent said that bike was on a list of bikes they don't insure. The wife went through the whole deal of "well he already has it" and "we have been with you for years with other sport bikes". She said to give her a couple of hours to see what she could do. She finally called back and said they would do it because of the long relationship. I have never heard of a insurance company black balling certain motorcycles. Anyone else ever had that happen?
  21. dou44, you think you can post a pic of the inside of one of them? Thanks.
  22. The price should have been the same. You went on the 25th. The price of $269 was good until the 26th.
  23. I saw an add in Fridays paper advertising they had police trade-ins for sale. They had both Smith & Wesson Model 64's in SS for $269 and Taurus Model 82's in SS for $169. Does anyone frequent there and seen the condition? I wouldn't mind picking up one of the Model 64's.
