Eugene went "Eldest Son".....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Eldest_Son

The first centerfire rifle, or carbine actually, I ever fired was an IBM around 6th grade age. It was my Dad’s and he gave it to me at the same time. Still have it and will never let it go. It has a high-wood RMC (Rockola) stock. Have always been fascinated from that time by who made it, and the other companies that produced them. There really are no US military firearms with such an interesting history as the M1 Carbine.

It’s been a long time since I even glanced at this but maybe it will help: http://www.m1carbinesinc.com/carbine_universal.html Although I would never consider anything other than a USGI M1 Carbine, they are not inexpensive anymore and not a single one has been made since 1945. Universal and other companies started making them for the commercial market using USGI parts but when those started drying up they started cutting corners and producing components of inferior quality. Quality suffered.

It’s a soda can, or whatever else you can shove in there, launcher. It might just be cooler than the golf ball launcher I used to have on an SKS.

The domain name in question was registered on March 18, with a Canadian outfit listed in the registration information, about the same time this organization materialized. Yeah, nothing to infer here at all. -
I am of the opinion that the barrel starts were the chamber ends. I know pistol, rifle and shogun barrels are not measured that way but revolvers are. It is the easiest way to go about it but I still question if there is a reason other than convenience.
-
Are the mags still fifty bucks each?
-
Why is it that the barrel length measurements of “pistols” of the semi-automatic kind include the chamber but those of revolvers (also pistols as far is I’m concerned, but I like saying clips too, lol) do not? It has always kind of bothered me. Is there a reasonable explanation other than one is a single unit and the other isn’t as in the case of a revolver?

Ever heard of Kane the wrestler? He is running for Knox County mayor and his giant 7 foot self drives a Smartcar.
-
He was doing a pretty good job with QC when Gabriel was trying to sabotage some loads.

Unless you are really, really lucky you’re not going to find a full sized .357 under $500 that isn’t cosmetically challenged. New ones in that range just don’t exist that I know of. SIA on Middlebrook does have a S&W model 13 in the case that doesn’t look all that bad for $599.99 without original grips and box of course that they might work with you on depending on who you talk to but I can’t guarantee that. Saw it yesterday but didn’t even ask to see it as that model is one of my “needs” but I want a P&R with proper grips.

I’m still not convinced. The first time I rode in a car with them and didn’t know about it I thought I had an accident, lol.

I’m done with this weather. There is entirely too much yard work waiting that I can only take care of on the weekends.

Arlington National Cemetery Asking for Public Opinion

I recommend The Body Farm (the University of Tennessee Anthropological Research Facility). They’ll do fascinating things with you, lol. -
Palmetto is a good place to buy from as long as you understand that their shipping leaves a bit to be desired...they can be really slow sometimes. Never been a problem for me, the prices are worth the wait.

Arlington National Cemetery Asking for Public Opinion

If many of this enlightened age knew who previously owned the land Arlington now occupies they would probably demand it be shut down and graves moved out. I certainty don’t have a say in it but if they are running out of space they might need to tighten up the requirements for entry. -
I’m more curious about how they found all those fully automatic assault rifles (yes, that is redundant). Those things aren’t exactly common.

While the show is filmed in Georgia and the show started in GA, the characters are currently in Northern Virginia. They have been for a long time now.
