Looks like crabgrass to me but I do have like 8 different kinds of grass in my yard. I do know it looks a lot better cut. Bermuda will overtake fescue with a vengeance. It grows in the summer when fescue goes dormant and browns in the winter. I hate it. You might need to do what I've been thinking of...the nuclear option...starting over, lol.

There are plenty of foreign manufacturers to provide arms and they've been doing it for years. Ever heard of Fabrique Nationale or Glock? Those two alone already have a huge share of guvment arms purchases, including the military.

The Serbians make an excellent AK. The only thing it lacks that many others have is a chrome-lined bore. Not really a big deal, IMO.

I've installed an extractor without the tool. Never had to remove one. It tedious but not undoable.

The key take-away from this is get the rust off first. Don't try to refinish over it. If it's just surface rust CLP and 0000 steel wool will do the job.

CMP still has the best price in the business. If they are still taking orders (I heard they suspended new orders to get caught up) go ahead and get on the list. They have a finite supply and it is going fast. They are not uncommon but street price is usually considerably higher than CMP.

I know some aren't going to like this but loaded guns at a gun show is a very, very bad idea. It only takes one dolt to ruin the party.

A tiny bit of lube, and by lube I mean grease, wouldn't hurt on those sliding surfaces. Like where the bolt slides in the receiver. Need a light grease for that. I've always used Tetra gun grease. Use stuff designed for cars at your own risk. Get the CLP out of the piston if you flooded that. It needs to be dry.

That is not entirely accurate. PPK-style .22's are double action, giving restrike capability. While a .22 for defensive purposes is certainly questionable and most would not recommend it, I would have no problem carrying my Bersa Thunder 22. You can dump 400 grains of lead in a target with a quickness.
