  1. Not to mention they would probably be a little higher on criminal "food chain" than a run of the mill mugger
  2. Yeah, everything I had ever found in the past on the subject was due to Apple supposedly looking to hire engineers w/ a CDMA background. These rumors always fleshed out to be just that, RUMORS.
  3. I'm aware. If this ninja criminal had the speed to strip a Beretta, he should easily be able to drop the mag, rack the slide, and depress the trigger in order to remove the slide. Again, I can't reiterate enough how ridiculous this scenario is, and I'm playing with absolute hypotheticals.
  4. Snatch the slide off of your gun!? I like Glocks myself, but honestly, if a criminal was ninja enough to snatch a slide off of a weapon pointed at him, I would think it would be EASIER to preform such a ridiculously unrealistic ninja-esque task on a Glock than a Beretta 92 or 96.
  5. Is that verifiable? Where did you hear that?
  6. Awesome gift indeed! Was this a war souvenir of his?

    642 or LCR?

Why fix what isn't broken? Consider this another vote for the 642 in what's quickly becoming a landslide.
  8. I was thinking the same thing. Also, when she joins Jax up on the roof. The roof being the prevalent place where Jax read his father's memoir last season.
  9. Just caught up. I was expecting more of an explosive episode, but I suppose it's in their best interest to let the pressure raise and the plot line develop more before it's an all out war between the Sons and the aryans. I'm wondering exactly what part the Nords are going to play in this whole thing, as Rollins made his disdain for the head Nord guy pretty evident in the season premiere. I busted out the ROFLcopter when I saw the poster on the wall of the lobby at Tom Arnold's studio

    O.Hai

    You work at Dunder Mifflin?!
  11. I ate one of the Mountain House ice cream sandwiches a few weeks ago, I didn't find it too bad. I've had some of the stews and the pastas before, they're actually quite good.
  12. Thanks for the recommendation, Jason! I've got 2months (maybe 3, can't remember) left on my Verizon contract, and I think I'll be making the switch. My girlfirend has the BB Storm, but it just doesn't work for me. I think I'm BB illiterate I had heard a lot about the awesome apps available for the iPhone, but just recently started actually looking at some... Holy Crap! AND there's even FREE apps available! Verizon doesn't like to give ANYTHING away...

    HERA Arms?

Man, I want one for sure, but can't with the shaky employment situation I've got right now. It'd be a little more affordable if I went w/ the non-SBR version, but with something like this (for me anyway), it's SBR or nothing. If I end up doing it, I'll probably get one of these to build off of: Firearms, Guns, Rifles. Grain Valley, Missouri.
  14. True, but when it comes to what goes in my pockets, I'm a minimalist. I couldn't see carrying an whole other device.
  15. Loving the optic. It's what I'm saving my pennies for. Did you have any of the prevalent issues on your Bushy (headspacing, improperly staked gas key)?
  16. I was glad I got the chance to attend a private high school. I saw more than my fair share of Zero-Tolerance BS in my days in the Metro Public School system... It was really eye opening to go to a school that didn't enforce Zero Tolerance. It wasn't uncommon for students to have a pocket knife clipped to their pocket at my high school. I can tell you w/ 100% certainty there has never been a crime or act of violence committed at that school w/ a knife. Fist fights weren't entirely uncommon, and they were dealt w/ on a case by case basis, often a trip to the Dean's office and an appropriate amount of detention time.
  17. I've been lusting after an iPhone for awhile, but I really like Verizon (I've had them for almost 4yrs now and will never go back to Sprint). After seeing this app, I'm contemplating the switch to AT&T...
  18. HOLY CRAP, strick! That was frickin' GOLD!

    HERA Arms?

Ok, I'm a little curious... Where would be the best place to engrave a Glock anyway? Not a vendor, but the actual physical location on the frame. The under side of the trigger guard?
  20. Yeah, I picked up on it being an addt'l cost. I'm a sucker for an upsell. I'm the kind of guy that would that thinks "psssssh, $10 more bucks, that's NOTHING!".
  21. Make sure to get an address to us so we can all send you cookies My brother caught his birthday when he was in Boot. My mom sent him cookies. Was not a good day for him.

    Navy OCS

Even if you got a surgery to correct your vision, and had no scaring to make it evident, they would most likely still find out. The doc might not be able to tell, but I'm sure all pilots receive extremely thorough background checks, and the worst thing for them to find is a lie.
  23. Hell of a christmas present, no?
  24. Damn, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for that. I knew they were a bargain, but $10?! That's freaking awesome.

Awesome! I like the Marauders a lot.
