    The worst deal

  8. I haven't called Del-Ton as 1) I'm sure there phones are ringing off the hook and 2) Calling them to ask when my order will be shipping will NOT speed up the processing. I figured plenty of people were calling and harassing them anyway, so I did some creative googling to see what people were reporting from their calls, and this is what I found: So uncool. I'm dying here.

WOW! I stopped browsing CTD after I saw their prices on .223... looks like I'm not missing out on any stellar deals.

    gunbroker.com anyone?

Your buying experience will only be as good as the seller you buy from. Lots of good folks out there, plenty of crappy ones as well.

    30rd AR Mags

Well, I've been shopping around for PMags and cant seem to find any in stock anywhere. I'm planning on ordering 5-10 mags on friday, so does anyone know where I might be able to find some good mags at a decent price?

    Hi point carbine

I've never owned or shot one, but I've always heard very good things about them. Of course, with a price point like they have, how could you REALLY complain? Sure, I would rather have a Beretta CX4 9mm carbine, but c'mon the CX4 retails around $800, and the Hi-Point retails around $200-something! Plus, you can buy one of these $60 stocks to alleviate the "ugly duckling" syndrome:

    AR lower and AWB

at Reloader's Bench? Holy crap... I called them a few days after the election, and they still had Sabre lowers for 129... This is getting ridiculous...
  15. You could spend as little as 650-700ish, depending on where you shop and desired quality. Price also depends heavily upon what you want on it optics/iron sights wise.
  16. SBR to SPR? Amazing how quickly one can change a B to a P...
  17. Yeah, or go put them IN the sh1t and see how they feel about getting shot at...
  18. Gotta say, that's pretty awesome! Says a lot about Blue Torch Fab as well.
  19. I've definitely been interested in 6.8SPC, but would be a little worried about it's availability.
  20. That's just wrong.. I just wish I at least had my LPK, grip, and stock to begin assembling! Niiiiiiice. I went for the middy myself! No kidding about the addictive nature of these things. I haven't got my first one together and I'm already planning the next! The next will be build as an SPR, around a 20" match grade upper... Will I stick w/ .223 or go .308? Now THATS the question... decisions, decisions...
  21. Well, I finally got my stripped lower last night. It came in by was of transfer to Guns & Leather. Now I'm getting real antsy. So here I sit, waiting on my Del-Ton order. No telling how long that will be, their homepage is quoting 8-12 weeks on processing orders now...
  22. Unions are the reason I cant buy a decent American made socket set without paying an arm and a leg.

    The new AR

As I sit waiting on my order from the gods of DelTonia, I decided I hate you...
  24. Speaking for myself specifically, I can say that I was MUCH more responsible at age 21 than I was at age 18.
