  1. Just crazy, They know nothing of what they speak yet people believe it.
  2. If hunting were a right I wouldn't need a license for it. If you have a license for something it is not a right it's a privilege. So are they saying I don't need a license to hunt or are they saying that they have no clue as to what a right is.   Also for a right I don't need a background check. The rights are granted from the creator not the government.    Am I too far off base here?   The article read to me as it Rugero was being admonished because she isn't in Bloomberg's mayor group against guns.
  3. What about XE (Blackwater) type companies and body guards, My understanding is the government uses plenty of sub contractors for security. I bet they forget to exempt them like NY forgot to exempt law enforcement ( As scary as the NY law is that part of it was funny! )   Side note there are about 799 deaths per 100,000 in the US per year of those 10 per 100,000 are firearm related. I think it must be asked WHY is it so important to them to get rid of guns? Why is every angle of the news media out to get guns? Who are they working for?
  4. Looks like spreading a blanket of pork our dear children will "save" them.   You can't start a good gun ban without some huge pork to go with it. The total package will cost at least $4.5 billion in new spending. The 23 things he announced to do using executive order. Just what he announced in the speech today is going to cost 4.5 billion. I bet some friends and donors get a ton of it.   http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/least-45-billion-new-spending-gun-control_696120.html   Doesn't have anything to do with it you might say, how will they buy off the local PD's to go along with it? $266,000 a year for a police officer is probably a good start.   Also I have a question. Page 5 of the PDF David posted (Thanks David)    A couple of lines there about a law officer getting a gun in the course of an investigation. Would that (and I'm serious) include a traffic stop, just a usual guy going to work or something stopped for speeding or running a stop sign. Officer finds out he has a permit. Does that mean that the firearm being carried would go through the wringer and need a background check to recover.    If the wish list doesn't pass or gets watered down there is a lot of harassment that they could do as they have done to the coal industry almost shutting it down.    We aren't in Kansas anymore. New York just passed a 7 round max magazine in the dead of night apparently.   http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/york-state-passes-toughest-gun-control-law-nation/story?id=18224091   7 round max no grandfathering, can't give a gun even to a family member without an FFL.    Scary.
  5. Sick! Totally sick! Will he leave there and speak at a pro choice rally? I just cant buy the pro abortionist want to take away guns 'for the children' They would gladly kill the children before they leave womb.
  6. Only problem I have is I feel like I haven't done enough to spread the word about what these gun grabbers are doing and have done in the past and what the future will be like if they succeed.
  7. My perspective is a paradox.   I believe our rights are absolute but...   I also believe with rights come responsibilities but...   If you have to have a license or pay a tax on it's a privilage.   The main thing to take from this is how well youtube and facebook and the like work as monitoring platforms.   flipping channels and CNN is on the attack atm.
  8. Wow if he does some banning by executive order that could cause quite an uproar.
  9. Bottom of the article says there was a bystander possibly in the way. Exactly how Wal-mart is someone is always in the way, one reason I avoid it.   So looks like he did the right thing. I dunno if he knew it was a pellet gun shooting him or not. If he had opened fire and hit the pellet gun idiot and the bystander that would be bad press for HCP carriers.    Then again most people don't have the stomach to shoot someone else, no matter the circumstances.
  10.   If you are going to go all out on this why not mention that the NRA was 1st formed and chartered in New York, with strong ties to the government, with the goal of bringing up a nation of shooters. (Cause Confederates severely out shot the Union soldiers, Union must have been better with cannons or something)    http://www.nrahq.org/history.asp   Alex is probably trying to demonize the NRA cause he likes (has some deal set up with) Gun Owners of America http://gunowners.org/
  11.   Kinda the nature of the conspiracy is to have things work in the favor of one side or group, So by nature if it's working in your favor it's not a conspiracy but a good plan.
  12. Ticked me off that the paper did that. I no longer watch wbir (gannett) or check their site. That said since then its been awesome with the editors and reporters addresses and phones getting outted, but them hiring armed guards is the funniest thing this year. Also this shows how dangrrous licensing and registration is and how stupid.
  13. Its.a.shame. If Corker were.Seth Meyer he might go back to acting. I fear we are stuck with him . I don't think Sandy Hook was.staged with actors. The deaths and grieving are real. But I have a million questions tucked.into.the band of my tinfoil hat about everything that went on that day.
