The sheaths have been wet molded to that specific knife. Care much be taken when installing/removing the knife as to not cut/damage the leather. I've removed and installed the knives at least 15 times so I know it can be done. The sheath and knife come as package for $155 each. Additionally, knives should never be stored in leather sheaths for extended periods as leather holds moisture and will rust carbon steel knives and may even discolor/stain SS knives. Let's face it SS means "stain less" and not "stain proof". 4.2 MM thick Bohler SS with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. Each knife is 8 3/4" long with a blade of 4". N690 steel is cobalt-enriched stainless steel manufactured by Bohler, an Austria steel company. This steel is high in carbon and chromium elements with the addition of cobalt for consistency. N690 steel alloy contains high amounts of chromium making it stainless steel. It also has fine grain composition that enables the blade steel to remain sharp for a long time even after exposure to prolonged tough applications. Bohler N690 steel’s ability to withstand stress is a favorite choice for knife makers. It is used to make outdoor knives including, tactical, camping, hunting, and bushcraft knives. 1. Made from 1/8" thick 1084 carbon steel they are 7 1/2" long with a blade of 2 3/4". They have thumb jimping and come with sheaths shown and equipped with a UltiClip. This clip allows you to clip on you pants to pocket carry of IWB carry without a belt. You can also clip it to most belts. Yes they were. It took about a month to complete these two.

Both in 440C SS. They come with sheath shown and are $155 each shipped. 1. SOLD!! 4MM thick, OAL 9 3/4" and blade of 5". It has extensive hand sanding/polishing and file work. Brass bolster and pins with ironwood and hickory handles with G10 accents and liners. Also features a swedge(false edge). This is a one off for me and will not be repeated. 2. SOLD!! 3MM thick, OAL 10" and Blade of 5 1/2". Brass finger guard and pommel. African blackwood and cocobolo handle with aluminum accents. Thumb jimping on spine and swedge. My youngest is 39....I think... so Christmas has lost that glimmer compared to when they were little. We buy gifts for the grandkids (not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination) but it's all good. The missus and I don't exchange gifts as we get most of what we want whenever we please. I'm home alone this Christmas as the missus went to help out with her daughter after surgery and will stay there for Christmas and get her fill of the four grandkids. She sounds ready to come home. I'm not suffering here at home since I have three pups to make me laugh and Die Hard in the que. I'll be happy to get her home since I couldn't ask for a better partner. I'll fire up the TV tomorrow for Die hard and have a Jack and Coke and play with the pups. Life is good. After all I just can't get upset with what Christmas has become as I'm doing my best to lead a stress free life. Merry Christmas everyone.

These two are made from 3mm thick (just shy of 1/8") 4116 Stainless Steel. OAL is 8 1/4" with a blade of 3 3/4". $130 each and includes kydex/leather sheath and shipping. 4116 Stainless is a fine grained stainless steel made by ThyssenKrupp in Germany. It was initially designed for hygienic applications for knives in the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries. This steel has characteristics similar to 420HC steel. Some manufacturers such as Cold Steel use it for it's excellent corrosion resistance and affordable price. Cols Steel say it has better wear resistance than 420HC. 4116 features excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and wear resistance.
