Sarah gets her first chemo treatment on Monday the 26th for her Stage 2 breast cancer. Doctors/Oncologist are confident she can beat this thing after reviewing all the battery of tests leading up to her prescribed treatment regimen. The family and Sarah are thankful for your thoughts and prayers.

My daughter age 39 and a mother of four has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She's seen the docs (got a second opinion) and the oncologist and is being set up for treatment of her particular type of cancer. Without going into to much detail I am asking that for those of you that pray may include Sarah in your prayers. She' a good daughter, wife and mother and she can use all the help she can get. Thanks in advance to all of you that may take the time.

Being a bit long in the tooth my carry before Glocks became fashionable was a 1911. I still carry it from time to time. Back then as now I was always known to be a quick witted, maybe a little obnoxious, outspoken sarcastic SOB. Spending 26 years in the military helped me perfect these traits. I was called a lot of names back in those days as you can imagine and gotta say I earned most of them. The missus on the other hand saw right thru all that almost immediately. Women are so perceptive. Anyway after the movie came out in 2008 most of my friends said "holy crap dude" that's you! While not exactly like Walt we could have been brothers.

Makes you wonder if it was an assault slingshot that the left will add to their list of naughty weapons.

Truck prices are crazy. I needed a truck for work so I was buying a nearly new truck every 2-3 years and putting insane miles on it. Now being retired has open up a more laid back approach and this old thing I went thru giving it new motor, trans, brakes, lines, hoses, wiring harness and other stuff. I spent maybe 10K and have an every day driver that I'm not afraid to drive anywhere. I went to Texas not long ago with no problem. A/C worked great. One of my two squarebodys...

Is this a trick question? My first car was a nearly perfect 55 Chevy Nomad and it was only ten years old when I bought it. I paid for it from money I earned the previous three years from a large paper route, seasonal jobs on a concrete crew as a gofer/helper, Sandwich/pizza maker in a hoagie shop and a few others. This was back in the day when kids 13,14, 15 years old were allowed to work and wasn't afraid to do so. I will add I wasn't alone in this feat as most of my friends did the same thing.

Welcome back to TGO! -
I refrained from responding to that guy cause he sounded like my older brother in so many ways. I haven't spoken to my brother in 27 years because well....he's a SOB. I get totally out of control thinking about him and afraid I would have gotten banned.
