  1. This is what it was all about, crossing state lines is a big NO, NO.
  2. Anything at close range, even a sling shot will go past drywall. If over penetration is a big concern, you might want to reload and use a smaller powder charge, but you might not stop the bad guy. A slug going very slow, made from soft lead just might be the ticket. It would expand and give up if power fast. That would take a bit testing. The top left 2 are 525 gr Lyman slug recovered from my sand pit, went in about 6". You slow it down and you just might have what you are looking for, if you miss it will penetrate drywall. 3. Yes, WW only, sized to .430, my SBH "likes" the size, powder coat is the lube.
  4. Looks like digging out the boolit might be a bit fun, I just stick to my sand
  5. I did load it backwards, hollow pointing out. Can ya make the Ballistic Gelatin for less than 100 dollars, every where I have checked the stuff is to high. http://www.amazon.com/Clear-Ballistics-Ballistic-Gelatin-Block/dp/B009PAW2R0 This is about as low I have found the homemade stuff http://www.foodservicedirect.com/product.cfm/p/2976307/Knox-Unflavored-Gelatin-Powder.htm?gclid=CIqql938_L4CFRQ1MgodWCQAPg I just cant spend that much, my sand pit works well enough.
  6. THIS IS A CROCK OF BRAVO SIERRA!!!   Yes, the person or persons that did this needs to be fired.
  7. 220 gr, Hollow base wad cutter, over 6.5 gr Titegroup and powder coated, shot from my SBH. I did load them backwards, so the hollow was pointing out. After recovery from a sand bank, 207 to 212 gr., expanded to over .75". I am impressed! 8. I am in BIG TROUBLE
  9. Ya need to reload and that is it. I was in Gander to day, none in house, they can order it for 23 dollars a box of 20. I told the guy I could reload 100 rounds, maybe more for that price, he said he reloads as well.
  10. Seems we have had this talk before, I said it was going to be coming to this. ALL drugs that change your mood, adjust your behavior, or try to control your emotions will get your firearm taken. Just wait till you have a death in the family, you just might get a visit asking for your firearms. The back door to gun control.
  11. I am sure that Iraq has a special place for him.
  12. Been living in this house for 25 years, I dont even want to think about a move.
  13. All of the above and I will add, With match ammo, all projectiles are the same, all powder is the same, all cases are the same. You will pay a pretty price for match ammo. Reload, easier to change powder by 1/10th of a gran at a time. Last, shoot 100 rounds a day. A few trips to the range are not gona get it.

    HYDRO DIP?

The design is not repeatable, it could be made close but never the same. I am telling ya, it SO EASY.
  16. Well this what ya get when you have to much time on your hands in the rain. 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons of water. Plastic paint, I used 2 colors, green and tan. Some kind of stick. Wire to hand your part, and last but not least you part. Spray the paint, into the center of the water, first one color then the 2nd color. I went with 3 cycles of color. So I sprayed 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 all pointed at the center of the bucket. You end up with rings on paint, mix a bit with the stick. Now dip you part into the water till it is all the way under. DO NOT PULL IT OUT YET Let the paint on the water gel, takes about a min or so, take the stick and get the paint off the water, it will clump to the stick. NOW lift out the part, this is what you get. The paint I used will clean off with paint thinner.
