  1. I don't see it getting much traction this time around.
  2. Heard this morning that Obama and Feinstein are rolling out another weapons ban. Start calling and writing your people.
  3. Well the crap is already starting. Heard on the news as I was walking out the door "gun control blah blah restrict this, restrict that, etc."
  4. I haven't been keeping up with the updates. Are they saying anything? Terrorist? Right wing? Anything?
  5. Thankfully no one died. This is just what the liberals need right now with them up against the wall. Edit: Unfortunately, it appears there are some deaths.
  6. That's kind of already happening. We now only hire on a temporary basis. You get no benefits and if they don't like you, you're out.
  7. Each store has its own forms. I've seen the boxes full of them.
  8. That's what I heard too. Hopefully it was just a weird isolated incident.
  9. My buddy worked security there for a while. By what I understand, they are more than prepared to defend in case some nut tries anything.
  10. This must not be a huge deal. I live here and I didn't even hear about it until now. Wonder what the deal is?
  11. I have a nano myself, and the trigger is incredibly long and heavy. Somewhere around 7 or 8 pounds. You're not going to accidentally pull this trigger. Throw one in the chamber.
  12. I'd love to get the night sights if they were in stock. :(       The trigger is a long pull for sure.
  13. Impulse bought a Beretta nano on Friday. My buddy had it new at his shop and worked with me on the price. I ended up paying 500 even with tax and background all included. So far, I'm really digging it. Digging it so much that I have an ankle holster coming for it. This will be my new backup gun. And I've also decided to make the most out of my little safe as I can. I must say I'm pleased. I called Sentry to buy another shelf, and they just sent me one for free. Also I grabbed a gun hanger and it fits nicely behind my AR. So far I have 8 guns in this little safe. I'm very happy. Also, you can't really see it, but I added two light bars on the side of the safe so I can see in it in pitch black if I need to. the switch is mounted to the computer desk that's right next to the safe.
  14. Our policy is associates can't buy ammo until the end of their shift. Can't speak for all Walmarts, but that's how it is at mine.
  15. Calmed down? In my opinion it hasn't even started yet.
  16. Either that employee didn't know or that store is poorly ran, but we have multiple copies of every key at our store and I'm pretty sure that's going to be the case in most if not all of them. She might not have known or maybe didn't have time to go get another set of keys.
  17. Thanks for all the help guys, I'd still rather not try it myself though, lol.      I can get to Knoxville on most Saturdays. That might actually be feasible.
  18. I've worked for Walmart for 6 years now but I can only speak about how my store does things. The truck is unloaded between 8-10 pm, but not everything leaves the stockroom. Certain things are left in back and we call those "security items." Those things include Tv's, phone cards, laptops, computers, tablets, scopes, guns, ammo, etc. The department manager that comes in at 7 am is then responsible for getting the ammo and putting on the tax stamps and then putting it in the display case. We currently have a 6 box limit and have no plans to stop selling ammo or guns, and we were told by corporate that we are going to focus on getting back in stock with ammo. Walmart hates having "outs" because they see that as missed money.
