    I am looking for a very skilled and experienced gunsmith with ARs in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area. I need a FSP removed, low pro gas block installed (barrel dimpled), free float rails installed, and barrel threaded to accept 1/2-28 flash suppressor. Recommendations welcome.

    IMHO I would get a normal AR chambered for 5.56/.223 with a 1/9 twist barrel. Then buy an AR .22 LR conversion kit. That way you have the flexibility of 5.56, .223, and .22 LR.

    Got the base R1 first down on the range the rear sight fell off. Fixed that with some Loctite. Second day on range the R medallions on the grips fell off. Fixed that with gorilla glue. Haven't taken it back yet. Would like to get some quality after market parts to dress it up a bit and see if that solves further issues. What I get for buying a first year production run pistol.
