You could "scout" the bad one.  XS sights makes an excellent scout mount for the enfield.  Makes it a cheaper version of the Ruger Gunsite.  Youre already most of the way there with the aftermarket peep and front blade.  My .02.

The bad thing with these sniper is they spent zero time aligning the scope to the bore.  I made one with a accumounts setup and spent at least a couple days fileing the pad areas to get a good bore alignment with the scope neutral.  Yours might need a little love in that department.

It is the best of diseases. Good looking rack. I need to come up with something for my pile (it really is a pile right now).

Yeah I do. Had them all at one time or another but let them slip away. A #4 is my next purchase I think. Getting harder to find unmolested ones now days. Shot the carbine today. Brutal. Had 5 in a pie plate at 100 yds with 2 touching. Good enough for my eyes.

@jr1977 Harriman Roane but just below you in Little Emory. @quietguy I have full build pics of my kayak. If you havent built a kayak before I suggest doing a skin on frame. Super easy and cheap. I have around $250 in mine (a 17ft greenland) and it went together very quick. That keeps you interested (at least it did me).
