  1. I found a LCP LADY LILAC in a gun store out of state and had it shipped to TN. \ Now I'm on the look out for a pink 38 special.
  2. I called there and should've known better. The guy on the phone was a jerk saying he had 12 people at the counter wanting guns too... I hate that place after going there just to be snickered at by their guy for wanting a turquoise gun
  3. OH Gosh, I'm sorry. and it has been so long since I even came back to read here.
  4. Whittaker's is the first place I seen them too, and haven't seen them in stock since
  5. where did you find  a pink one? i haven't even seen a picture of those.   Thanks,
  6. where did you find these? or did y'all make them?
  7. Has anyone seen these in stock available? especially the special $299
  8. Among the line, there were three of us from class waiting out front for the door to be opened. A the front door opened a lady asked, what were we there for? We told her, to get our handgun carry permit. The first thing she said was "You can't just show up and get a permit, you have to go to a class first." Then a guy told us acting like he was a cop on the side of the road, he wanted our IDs and Birth Certificates. Next, another guy barked at me I couldn't wear glasses for my picture while I was standing in line trying to read all the paperwork for my photograph. Then they told me not to smile for the picture. It is this attitude that boils over into all of society as well as public employees. It is like how more and more cops bark at us now days instead of having any sort of civility. We didn't forecast any kind of bad attitude going to get our permit. If I acted to the public the way they do at my job, I would be fired.
  9. Did any of you get attitude from state employees when you went down to the Tennessee driver's license station? They gave me grief over wearing my reading glasses while standing in line to take my picture which I had to re-take because my year old CDL picture wasn't allowed. Just seems like unnecessary hoops.
  10. The $50k limit mentioned in 1995 seems pretty low. What amount do you all get? 100, 500k, One million?
  11. I was wondering what the opinion was on HCP holders having a bond or handgun carry liability insurance? at class we were told since after 1996 we weren't required to have it but the instructor did mention it. ... or encouraged it?
  12. I'm comfortable using a 1911 45 ACP but for HCP class I wanted to use a friend's 1911 that has the Advantage Arms 22LR Conversion Kit installed. Since we're just putting holes in paper for a test, I wanted to save money and not worry about recoil too. Do any of you all see a problem with using this? Would the instructor have a problem with it not being a "name brand" handgun or something odd? Thanks
  13. Whats the story? Nothing at the links
  14. Hi Everyone. Thank you for the input. I've shot alot of different handguns but going to carrying one is different matter. I am favoring a Ruger LCP because of its size, cost, and reviews. I guess I should take this to the "Women and Firearms" section
  15. I would like to see the guns but the images are unavailable. Only an icon saying the images have been moved or deleted
