  1. I have had one about a year and loaded several thousand 45acp with it. I love it. Was going to buy a dillion but a buddy let me use his LNL and I have never looked back. I usually load 100rds at a time in about 30min.
  2. For every 20 I buy I might sell one and only because I upgraded so I guess I am good.
  3. I have seen a AR15 slamfire at perry and multiple marine team AR10s slamfire at interservice a few years ago. It is much more likely with the AR10s that do not have the spring in front of the firing pin due to bolt carrier group mass.
  4. I put a factory loaded round (185GR FED Match) in the shell holder and bottomed out the seating die on it. I then set the factory crimp die to give it a good snug crimp. My loading expert tells me that I should have a seating die for each bullet. In my case the 185 JHPs and 185 Wadcutters. The glock chamber is not as tight as most. While in my learning stages my glock would rounds that did not want to chamber in my 1911s. 4.5 gr of bullseye works for all of mine. I use 4.0 of Titegroup for 45 these days.
  5. They had another 1 on Wilma Rudolph just got back from callout
  6. I enjoy shooting bullseye but distance, schedule, and lack of matches in the winter months make it difficult.   Hope to meet some people to shoot with.
  7. Introduction to NRA Bullseye Pistol/CMP Service Pistol Clinic TN Gun County will be hosting a clinic for aspiring pistol shooters on 19 and 24 October 2015 Meet at 1830 in the training room of the store. Cost for matches is 15.00 (Includes range fees and targets) Required Equipment: .22 or any center fire handgun .32- .45 caliber Or both At least 100rds of ammo Eye and Hearing Protection Suggested Equipment: Some form of optical aid that allows you to see bullet holes at 25 yards.   Bullseye Pistol is the most challenging and yet the simplest form of competitive shooting. You shoot a handgun with only 1 hand unsupported at targets 25 yards away at indoor matches and 50 yards and 25 yards in outdoor matches. A match consists of 90 rounds per weapon fired. CMP Service Pistol Matches are where you earn “LEG” Points for your Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge and if you shoot well enough you can earn a Presidents 100 tab at Camp Perry.  Monthly matches will follow. It is a great way to refine your shooting skills. It will teach you the trigger control. This Clinic is designed for everyone. You do not have to be an experienced gun person. It is not a tactical course and you will not use a holster. It is just the fundamentals.    Instructor will be Dave Keenom Dave is a 17 year veteran of law enforcement 14 years SWAT, NCOIC of TN’s National Guard Shooting Team, and an All Guard Shooting Team Member. Dave is Distinguished in both Pistol and Rifle.
  8. I had several of their bolt carrier groups where the gas key was not machined enough to remove the cam pin without prying it out. I did not send them back but removed enough form the side of the pin to let it freely install/remove.
  9. I have been using 1 for a couple of years.   Great kit.
  10. I recently bought a CW9 and like it much more than the KT PF09. I shot the department qual with it and did not drop any points. The qual is strong and support hand firing with single and standard grip.   I have to bury my trigger finger 2 the second joint to get a straight back press.   recoil is not unpleseant even during rapid firing.
  11. I ordered 2 LPKs from them last week and got them today.
  12. I have one that was purchased in their kit form. I had to supply the lower and lower parts kit. I was suprised at how well it shoots 3.5 MOA at 100 yards, off a bench, with 62grain ammo. I have shot .gov A2s that do no better.  It has a 7.5 barrel. I have about 200rds through it with no issues so far. One thing I do is clean the grease out of the barrel before firing all new uppers.
  13. They are now selling from the storefront.
  14. We put Timiny triggers in our issue 700s instead of sending them back.   Much nicer trigger. Set at 3.5lbs and zero takeup.
  15. The cravings do get better. I have been off of dip for almost a year. Had been dipping for most of 20 years. I still crave it but less every day. I chew sugarless gum  and drink water instead.
  16. Yes but it beats driving my own vehicle to work :ugh:
  17. TN Farm bureau.   Autos and home.   I have to carry a rider on my take home police car so sowhat limited in companys willing to insure a .gov vehicle.
  18. I have had one for about a year.   No issues with it.   Kind of cool
  19. PSA has their rear sites on sale for 39.00  http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-aluminum-flip-up-sight-set-same-plane-for-railed-uppers-14860.html   I have a couple and they work/mount fine, I just had to tighten them down.   I have had great luck with PSA uppers and parts
  20. Clarksville has tons of surplus stores. They are all on Fort Campbell Blvd/41A
  21. On a .22 I would just use a bore snake to get the crap out.   More barrels are worn/ruined by improper cleaning and over cleaning than are worn from shooting them.
  22. This is correct, no need to torque wrench.
  23. I have been wearing the LA Police Gear operator pants daily for the past 3 years. For 20.00 or less per pair they can not be beat. I have had to resew 1 button and that is the only repair I have had to make.
