I fondled the commander size one that they had in the case. Felt awesome, just wanna shoot one.

I have seen them in the shop and fondled them, I want to shoot one.

I really want one but I have to get the house bought first. All my play money has been spoken for already. But I really like these guns. Anyone live near tullahoma with one?

Does anyone here have a her gear 1911?? I am increasingly curious about them and am torn between a nighthawk talon 2 or one of hero gears commander size guns.

$375 at hero gear in winchester. They had five yesterday morning and by the time I left there they had 2. Picked up one for the wife and we spent some time at the range today. I was really surprised with the gun!!

I ride up at bryants cove and aetna mountain some times.

The factory case is fine with one lock. The tsa agents showed me why they did this and that was because even with one lock on the case you could pry up the other end of the case and take the gun right out of the case. I think they had problems with that in chicago at one time. As long as the case is hard sided and locked it is legal.

I fly southweast about 15that plus times a year and 99%get of those flights i bring my firearm along for the ride. I have only had one thing ever said and showed to me and that was in chicago midway. I had the gun in the factory case e which had only one lock hole. The tsa agent said that to prevent theft, thwy require two locks. The agent kindly gave me another lock and proceded to drill another hole in the case. Since then i changed to a pelican case. Its sealed tight with two masterlocks. I used to fly with the Magazines loaded in cutouts in the case and never had a problem but have since switched to an ammo case just to prevent any issues. Again, do not use a tsa approved lock on tge firearm case. They are not supposed to be in ur gun case with out you present in any form or fashion!! Enjoy your trip. Also you are allowed up to five pounds of ammo if i remember right.

Caster i agree with you. Right now it is a sinking ship. We need some one in pffice that is not a politician and we need to kick every single current politician out pf office to set an example. Ohshoot, realize both of those facts. But it is still principles that this country has been based off of. If you do not stand for something you fall for anything. We should not bend to the will of people that have decided to move to this country. Said people are free from prosicution and should be more than greatfull!! Talked to him a couple of times and he has seemed like a good guy so far. Will give him a chance on my next few planned purchases, his prices were on match to the outpost armory, at least at that time on that gun.

If I read right, Will is no longer in charge of Red Jacket. He had some class 3 weapons that he "could not account for" in 2009 and he lost his license. After that his lead gunsmith Vince took over control of Red Jacket but has since left the company. Sounds shady to me.
