  1. Waynesville, my family lives in Waynesville and Maggie Valley which is about 15 minutes anyway. Don't think I could make it through the Holliday's alone so thank God my house sold in one day and when I went to NC I was able to find what I wanted. I know I am only a click away here, just wanted to let you all know that I will not be local. Joe W.
  2. Hello and goodbye all, Just wanted to say goodbye to all my TGO friends. I am moving to NC in a couple of weeks. The reason for the move is because after my wife's death I have no family here but I do in NC, hense the reason for the move. It has been fun meeting many of you and I will miss you. Please keep me in your prayers and God bless your friend Joe W.
  3. My sincerest thanks to all of you for your kind word's and prayers Joe
  4. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and kind words, I sincerely appreciate Joe

  7. Since I can't find the answer doing a search. What happened to guns and leather as a sponsor here on TGO? If it is a touchy submit PM works
  8. Wish they were closer, I am in need of a job. Joe W.
  9. Bersa go with the pre-paid plan from a local funeral home and if you are having your cremains placed in a niche or buried in the ground in a cemetery purchase that as well. Costs are always going up, this way you lock in the price and the funeral home will have all of your details when the time comes. I had worked in the cemetery field for over 7 years before leaving and watched the prices go up every year or so. IMHO Joe W.
  10. I have owned both and liked both. Unless things have changed Springfield's firing pin is 38super/9mm in size. Just something to keep in mind. Ruger uses standard 45 firing pin. I would still recommend either.
  11. Ruger LCRx 3" 38spl +p summer carry and Ruger SP101 357mag 2.25" barrel winter carry. Joe
  12. She did a excellent job, I was very impressed.
  13. That sucks. I would like to know which ffl is doing this.
  14. Excellent thread. I also enjoy teaching new shooters. I normally start with gun safety, then at the range start them out with a 22lr handgun and I move up 38spl in the same trip. I can't remember one bad day.
  15. It gets worse the older you get. Here is how I know; I sneezed and through my back out. Took three weeks to get back to normal.
  16. Ordered one today, directly from Ruger ;) Just kidding. No it's a joke gun.
  17. Excellent review thank you for posting

Merry Christmas to all. God bless us, everyone
  19. Merry Christmas to you. God bless us, everyone :)
  20. You are correct, the 22lr vs the 357 is a round 50.00 difference in price, but the 22lr is more expensive, that just doesn't compute in my mind that the 22lr would cost more then the same gun in 357.
