  1. ORSA is holding a USPSA RO class 3/12 - 3/13. More info to come.
  2. I have been using this bag for my 3 gun gear for a few years now. No tears or issues, great bag especially for the price. Very durable. Only thing changed was I had to make para cord zipper pulls on all the zippers as the ones that come on it fell off quickly.
  3. I got two of the Cloak 2.0 holsters, one for an LCP, and one for a 3" 1911. The 1911 holster is great, but the LCP is so small it leaves a long flat area of plastic in the shell that doesn't flex much. It makes the holster very stiff and doesn't allow it to curve around my body. Highly recommend it for anything larger than a micro pistol.
  4. Stopped at the Cabelas in Milwaukee, WI during my last visit. Their firearm selection beat bass pro and Gander Mountain hands down. They had everything from inexpensive keltecs to $12,000 Accuracy International bolt action rifles. They had a great selection of ammo and accessories. Can't remember about their reloading supplies though. They did carry a really good selection of optics, even some of the high end hi-power scopes. Can't wait for them to open here, just wish they were inside the TN state lines.
  5. I built my long range precision semi in 6.5 creedmoor on a MATEN set. LOVE IT!! It is a well thought out, nicely machined piece. Mega makes some great uppers and lowers and it is ahead of the curve with their tension adjustments and ambi controls. A lot of guys run their stuff in 3gun rifles as they are a higher end well priced part.
  6. Mercury Engraving in Knoxville does really good work. They can do both traditional and laser engraving while you wait for $25 - $30.
  7. Surprisingly 700x is my favorite powder for 124gr lead bullets. Very low smoke and burns real clean....and inexpensive.
  8. Check out www.concealmentsolutions.com. Great holsters. I have one to carry IWB and the more I use it, the less I feel it's there. It molds to your body and is very comfortable. I added the horse hide option which is thinner then natural leather used on crossbreed and other holsters. Really nice guy that makes them, can't remember his name, turn around time was pretty quick too. First heard about them from the Handgun Podcast.
  9. I saw just what you are talking about at Gander Mountain the other day. Don't remember who made it, I'll try to stop by again and post it. They had a really nice slide out shotgun safe that sits under the bed too.
  10. Just signed up and wanted to introduce myself. I shoot IDPA and 3gun with USPSA occasionally. I'm a member at the Oak Ridge Sportsman Association and Faith Promise Church. Lately have started shooting long distance and really enjoying the challenge. I'm an Engineer and love to fix/work on things. Firearms, jeeps, camping, and mountain biking are a few of my hobbies. Hope to see you at the range, Steve
