  1. That is very reasonable. I can't do it this weekend, but maybe next some evening next week or on the weekend whichever is better for you. I leave work at 4:30pm Eastern so by 5:30 or 6 your time pretty easily. Just let me know what works for you.
  2. If you are the DIY kind of guy, try https://4drentals.com/product/12-gauge-rem-choke-tap-reamer/ 7 day rental of tap and reamer for $54. Just watched there video and a couple other's and it seems pretty do able. I am thinking seriously of doing it. xtriggerman, what would you charge to thread a barrel if someone brought one to you?
  3. Really nice guy. I sold him a TCP 380 shortly before his death.
  4. I am hoping this Sessions this is designed to make Congress deal with the differences between state and federal laws and legalize marijuana. Fix it instead of ignore it. I am probably dreaming
  5. The one in Spencer is near Fall Creek Falls. It is just opening and has shotgun and I think 50/100 yard ranges are opening this weekend. Last info I saw was that the 600 through 1000 yard ranges will be spring 2018. They are having a grand opening this weekend. https://www.deadzeroshooting.com/grand-opening/
  6. Oh I agree. I have not ridden one, but I sat on a Rocket III and was amazed how balanced it was and I wanted to ride it. That was more for the majority of cruisers especially the V Twins
  7. I've ridden some cruisers and enjoyed it, but you will find the sport tourers like the FJR1300 and the FZ1 sport standard I own are significantly faster, MUCH MUCH MUCH faster. As I used to tell people, 1/3 turn of the throttle is 60mph, 2/3rds turn is 120mph and full throttle is 150-186mph depending on the bike. In about the time you have read this paragraph you could have gone from 0 -150mph plus. Just a reminder is all I am saying
  8. Probably stop by for a little while on Saturday morning
  9. Yea, I work in downtown Chattanooga. I bought a pistol there one time, went to the ffl and did the transfer and background, went to the subway nearby and got a sandwich and took it back to my office in less than an hour.
  10. Also, you can only buy and sell with a person in your state of residence. An example, my son recently moved to TN from Virginia. I could not sell or buy from him until he establishes residency here in TN, by changing his license to a TN license and registering his vehicle here. Even though he is using a room in my house right now.
  11. Try it with a good magazine. I believe that could cause a failure to lock.
  12. From the Chattanooga Whiskey Facebook page Want to get a taste of the first batch of whiskey bottled legally in Chattanooga in over 100 years? Join us for our Grand Opening party at the Tennessee Stillhouse next Tuesday, March 24th. Get your tickets here: http://ow.ly/KpltJ
  13. Oh god, I hope they make this in 45 ACP. That would match my Glock 21 that I have a bunch of mag for.
  14. Just to show the ludicrousness of this, it would be interesting to make an AR15 pistol with the Sig Brace and a 14.5 inch barrel with a screw on flash suppressor, and a M4 clone with a 14.5 inch barrel with a pinned and welded flash suppressor with a regular adjustable stock all the way forward. Place them on a table and make a video point out how shooting one from the shoulder is now an NFA gun and the other is not. How it if you hold the pistol a half an inch from your shoulder and shoot it you are fine, but if you move it that last half inch you are now a felon.
  15. If it is like the last one I had to miss, you just show up with some ammo and you can shoot the demo guns they have, or bring your own and try there can.
  16. Could you please either add me to that conversation, or at least post about the parts and where to buy. This is very interesting to me. Thank you
  17. At the gunshow last weekend at Camp Jordan in Chattanooga, I saw 1000 round Winchester M22 bricks for $50 and Aquila for either $50 or $60, I don't remember which. I was quite surprised.
  18. Yea, where the heck is that. I have only bought 300 rounds of 22 in the last 2 years

    ...

That height, and weight and size, I think I know what it is. Was it from Northern Maine?    Potatoes? Missed the no food. Feel stupid now.
  20. Not even remotely realistic, but dang impressive and points out the guns are better than 99.999% of the shooters, Jerry Miculek with a 200 yard shot with a Bodyguard 380 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Fwb-9aYDa0
  21. I understand butchered last names. Mine is Irish and spelled Timon. If you replace the T with an S everybody can pronounce it perfectly, but put the T there and it is "Tim-min" or "Tim-moan". And I could smack Disney for the Lion King.
  22. It is not the Hubsan, it is the Estes Proto X Nano Quad-Copter... http://www.hobbyexpress.com/estes_proto_x_nano_quadcopter_rtf_1043343_prd1.htm   Looks really cool. May have to get one
  23. Cabelas shows 225gr TSX 340 Weatherby in stock. $99.99 for a box of 20 http://www.cabelas.com/product/Weatherby-Magnum-Ultra-Velocity-Ammunition/728410.uts
  24. I had a 2 barrel ford2150  carb on a Jeep V8 that would eat carb to manifold gaskets. That would happen suddenly and the motor would run crappy and have low vacuum. There was one passage way on the bottom of the carb that only got covered by the gasket and was free to the world on the other. Took forever to find. Remove the carb and the phenolic spacer and check to see if either gasket has a burned through spot.
