  1. Thanks for all the advice I think I'll just keep my head down and take my chances.
  2. My company just sent out a revised weapons policy. Part of it is about the parking lot bill. It clarifies that we are in fact able to keep a firearm in our car as long as we have a carry permit. Here's the part I don't like and I need advice on. They have in the policy that if we want to keep a firearm in our car we must inform the HR department and they will make a copy of our permit. Can they legally require us to inform them we have a permit and intend to have a firearm in our car? Personally I don't think it's any of their business but can I be fired for not complying?
  3. I bet its gonna be wild. I may stop by after lunch tomorrow.
  4. I ordered the cmmg from my lgs today for $328 OTD. Not bad since they are $309 on budsgunshop.com plus your transfer fee.
  5. That's good to here about cmmg. I guess I need to go ahead and order one.
  6. Does anybody know any gun shops in west or middle tn that has one in stock? I'll take any brand stripped or complete. Wait time on rra lower is 60 days. Cmmg says a week but I don't know if I believe them.
  7. Does anybody know of any shops in the west tn area that carries the cmmg dedicated lower for a 9mm? I can buy one online but if a local shop carries them it would probably be cheaper to buy from them.
  8. I was looking for a S&W m&p 15-22 and I knew I could get one at my local shop for $399.99 plus tax/background. The only one I seen was marked at $439.99. They were busy and it wasn't worth the trouble to negotiate. I go mostly to sell/trade my guns to individuals. I did sell my Taurus .357 while there.
  9. If you call that better than memphis I'm sure glad I didn't go to memphis. It was ok but prices were pretty high as usual. I got there late saturday evening so there weren't that many people walking around with guns for sale.
  10. I agree about gander mountains customer service. I was in there a few weeks ago and was ignored by 3 different people behind the gun counter. The last guy was standing at the register looking through some paperwork and he looked straight at me, pick up the paper and turned and went in the back. That was it for me. I emailed them and the district manager sent me an email back wanting me to call him. Never did make that call. I don't see anything changing since everytime I've been in there its been the same way.
  11. It's not stainless....the flash of the camera just makes it look that way. He says he has the box it came in new that says its the loaded model. I'd have to see the matching numbers to believe it. It looks like a mil-spec to me to.
  12. Also he says it has an upgraded trigger, magwell and other internals.
