  1. I'll try to get mine to you this afternoon when I get off work. I'm too much of a procrastinator sometimes.
  2. I've apparently been stuck under a rock and just saw this thread. Still room?? If so, I'd be in for one, preferably #23. I don't think I saw that number claimed yet. Never had a Protech before, but I heard a lot of good things.
  3. So our house sold super quick, and our new house is still being built. During this time in between, we will be moving in with my inlaws. Essentially, my safe is too big so I will have to take it to my parents for the time being along with the contents inside. Because of this, I'm in need of a small safe to bring to the inlaws that would not take up much space. I would prefer it to be small, but big enough for me to bring at least 2 of my Glocks with me. Anyone have any good suggestions that they use?
  4. I second Oh Shoot with the plastic bag! I was crawling around on the kitchen floor for 30 minutes looking for that stupid detent pin a couple of weeks ago. I had just given up and laid down in the middle of the floor quite angry. Then I turn my head and see it right beside me. Lol. Talk about luck.
  5. Looking at getting a multi tool. Now this would be an EDC item. I'm not getting it for any one particular reason, so a well rounded tool is what I'm looking for. My one request is not a keychain size one like some I have seen online. After looking around online, the Leatherman Wave seems to be a good all around multi tool. What are you guys' suggestions?
  6. Seems like a good deal on a M&P coming with 3 more free mags. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/14707/
  7. Dang. I might have to take a gamble on it then. Not too worried about color, but crappy gen 1 sights was holding me back.
  8. I don't think I have ever seen an LCP going for this cheap. Even if it does look like a salmon color... http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ruger-lcp-fde-380acp.html
  9. I have carried a M&P and also a XDM, but then I discovered the Glock 19 and I've never looked back. But out of the two choices, if I was forced to pick, I prefer the M&P lineup.
  10. Thanks for the info! Here's the link to their "pistol" lower. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1ANSLPISTOL&name=Anderson+Manufacturing+AM15+Multi.+Cal.+Pistol+Lower+Receiver&groupid=722
  11. AIM has regular Anderson stripped lowers, but they also have Anderson stripped pistol designated lowers. Both are only $39.95. Was thinking of picking up a couple, and maybe building one into an AR pistol. Can I still do this with a "regular" stripped lower instead of buying one that says "pistol?"
  12. I did this. I got one of the BCM uppers that were on sale. I went with a BCM lower just because I wanted a matching upper and lower. Did it need it to perform just as well? No. Could have gone with a cheaper one, but just personal preference. I also have a Spikes lower mated with a PSA upper that shots great as well.
  13. I was looking at some of their uppers earlier today. I just don't know enough about the company to pull the trigger just yet. Their prices are great though!
  14. Just watching that video clip makes me want to build an AR pistol just so I can get the KX3 to put on it. That was awesome!
  15. Just came across this. http://www.bumpfiresystems.com For $100, seems to be the cheapest bump fire stock option out there that I have seen. think I might pick one up to have some fun with.
  16. Guess I just need to go ahead and give it a shot.
  17. Any takers? Or anyone know anyone locally that does these conversions?
  18. So I'm going to convert my .223 Saiga. Thinking of getting this kit from Carolina Shooter Supply. http://www.carolinashooterssupply.com/product_p/rifle-6-kvar-5pc.htm Or I also thought it might be a fun project to put a Slide Fire stock on :) If I order it, anyone who has done one of these conversions before feel like helping out? I know everyone says it's super easy. Just don't trust myself quite enough. I'm willing to travel around Middle Tennessee if needed.
  19. I use Trijicon HD sights on my Glocks. Pricey, but they have been the best fit for me. On the other hand, you could get 2 sets of some other sight for the price of one set of HD's.
  20. I have a .44/.45 brand new Hoppe's Boresnake. Sold the gun before I ever used it. First one to claim it gets it shipped to them for free.
  21. So I just ordered a Geissele SSA trigger for my new BCM AR build. Was very hesitant putting that much money into just a trigger, but from the reviews I have seen, everyone that owns one says they are absolutely worth it. Any of you guys have any personal experience with them?
  22. Well if no Glocks, then my recommendation is a XDS 9mm. Great gun.
  23. Seemed to be $599 everywhere I looked. Went to Bud's online and did the "make an offer" on it as it was listed for $599 as well, and boom, accepted $540. Shipped with insurance for $555. Cheapest I have been able to find.
