  1. Tell her you put it up as a personal invite to her and wanted to make sure she saw it!
  2. I reload for my GLOCK 23 and 27. I use brass I have fired and other range pick ups. I always inspect the brass carefully and discard any I have a doubt about. I never reload to max, usually starting loads or medium levels. I have had only one problem with both guns, some rounds loaded a little long. They did not want to feed from the magazine correctly. I have around 2,000 rounds thru the 23 and 1,600 rounds thru the 27 with half of these being reloads. Now these work in my guns and may not in yours, do not use reloading info from the internet! Rainier or Magnus 165gr JHP's with any good small pistol primer, various brass and 7.3gr of Longshot powder. I have had no problems other than a few that were too long overall, accurate and clean.
  3. Nice gun! If you send it and some ammo to me I will break it in for you!:D
  4. For a good selection at good prices check out WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM I have purchased a few Don Hume products from them and am happy with the selection, price and service.
  5. I don't like tatts but that is me. Some people go overboard or have ugly ones. Seeing a female type person with them all over does not make me think she is lovely. I have spent a goodly portion of my life trying to keep people from putting holes in my body and been assigned to units where identifing marks were not allowed so this may have colored my thinking. Sorry to have got off topic, I do not care for it especially at the price.. For a good deal on basic holsters try; WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM
  6. Depends on caliber and FPS and type of bullet. I always suggest going by the manual and if it doesn't say or explain well enough then call/e-mail the maker and find out what they say.
  7. Always be careful, don't want to loose anyone from the forum.
  8. My experience has been with pistol rounds only (straight wall cases). I ordered a Lee Anniversary Kit (single stage) that came with everything but dies and comsumables. Some kits come with one die set. You will need powder, brass, primers and bullets. You may also want calipers that can measure OAL and case length but you can compare to faactory rounds and check if loaded rounds fit in and work in the chamber and magazine(s). A good reloading and equipment set up manuals are very good to have. Most powder companies have on line reloading data sites. Just check out what comes in different companies kits and note the items included if you do not want to buy a kit. Kits seem to cost less than buying piece by piece. A tumbler with cleaning media is nice but not needed to reload. Just about everyone can reload, just pay careful attention to detail. Most mistakes of new and experience reloaders is lack/lapse of attention. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!
  9. If you like carrying a GLOCK then do so, if not then don't. Please do not put down someone elses firearm choice, it's like talking bad about their dogs, wife or kids. A firearm such as the GLOCK has a safety same as every other, operator, so if you want an external safety go for it but I would suggest getting a firearm that was designed with one and not a add-on. GLOCK's work but so do many others so just be safe.
  10. Hello and Welcome to TGO.
  11. Hello and WELCOME to TGO.
  12. Hello and Welcome to TGO I like the 40 S&W also, have to reload to shoot alot.
  13. A good K-31 rifle can be a dream gun. Ammo is expensive, for a mil-surp, and going up. Takes a little practice to get use to the straight pull bolt action. Just my opinion.
  14. A good place to order from if you can not find what you want locally; WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM
  15. I do not believe it is needed but to each their own. I like (not love) my GLOCK's, they are ugly and utility guns but mine have worked with without problems except for one too long of a OAL reloaded round. They just plain work and are reliable. I have added a grip frame plug to both mine and that is all except for shooting the devil out of them. They run clean or dirty with any usable ammo.
  16. Hello and WELCOME to TGO! I have a G23 and 27.
  17. Prayers for you and yours and will keep you all in my thoughts.
