  1. Yes I guess it does work but it seems to becoming more complicated everytime. I just wish that more people voted and used their heads and not their hearts to choose a candidate. I only hope and pray that our country becomes stronger and smarter over the next few years. Thanks for the replies.
  2. Thank you.
  3. Anyway we can get a "WELCOME" smilie? It would be nice, maybe a little larger with bright color and a little waving dude. Just asking.
  4. Just a reminder that there will be a gun show at the Nashville fairgrounds this weekend. Be there or be square. Make it if you can. Anybody know a good way TGO members can recognize each other while there? Have a Nice Day
  5. I have one in 40 S&W, ugly but works and surprisingly accurate.
  6. Go with what feels right to you but if it will be concealed carried make sure it is "RELIABLE", nothing will ever ruin your day as much as hearing no bang when you need to hear one!
  7. Congrats and carry with pride and responsibility!
  8. Rant coming on! I think the election process somehow violates me. Why not vote for the candidate and the one with the most votes wins. Why have delegates and all the other extranious BS, just one person equals one vote and the canddidate with the most votes wins. RANT OFF!
  9. WELCOME to TGO!
  10. WELCOME to TGO!
  11. Maybe they put bad signs so it does not mean anything.
  12. Just asking, I do not care who you voted for but we all need to exercise our right whenever possible. I voted, I always do. I did not always vote but it has become very important to me as I have gotten older.
  13. The bad guys seem to be getting more violent these days. Glad they got the perp and feel very sad for the family.
  14. I don't love GLOCK's! But having said that I have 2. They are my utility guns for range and carry. I think they are ugly and blocky looking but with the right holster pretty easy to carry. I have a 23 and 27 and the 23 has gone thru more than 1,000 rounds of different brands and types of ammo to include reloads and has not had one mafunction. The 27 is new and only has 200 rounds thru it with one malfunction because of ammo. Both are accurate and easy, for me, on recoil. I don't love them but they work and that is what I require.
  15. I do not believe the GAP is or will be a main stream caliber while the 40 S&W is possibly the best compromise caliber for pistols (semi auto) there is. The 40 has many loadings and platforms. The 40 is bigger than the 9mm but faster than the 45 ACP in standard loads. The 10mm takes a larger frame because of it's length and it causes problems for some folks. I like the 40 S&W and have gone to it as my only centerfire handgun caliber.
  16. I do not like the Clinton's, either Bill or Hill. But then again I don't like most politicians
  17. It's for attaching to your rifle!
  18. The 25 meter/1,000 inch zero, at the time I zeroed, put you dead on again at 250 or 275 meters. Can't remember that far back.

    I Don't Care

    I just don't give a big frogs fa#t.
  23. If I remember correctly it is about 3 1/2 feet high. Does not really matter except for the angle you fire because this determines how far the bullet will go after going through the target. It is really a 25 meter/1,000 inch distance from muzzle to target or use to be. This is from qute a few years ago.
  24. It's a heavy responsibility, carry with wisdom.
  25. I also believe it has to do with how much money you have!
