  2. I dont have one of these but they look like my Comptac CTAC for Glock 30 w/rail. I wear it without a belt and I can wear it with shorts without "issues".
  3. I saw that on the Impeach Nacy site on FB that I belong too... funny stuff. Opps wait, not so funny stuff since there is a lot of truth to their captions.
  4. Best of luck to you Glen... I hope to see you return sooner than you expect. Take care.
  5. Congrats Ben
  6. Browning Hi-Power
  7. Kevin it was the lady that waits on me at least 3 times a week. Once she knew that I was not kidding I saw her tell the Manager/Owner (Sam) that knows me by name. He had a rut ro look on his face but I didnt talk to him on my way out. I didnt want to turn it into a "scene".
  8. I work in Donelson so I went to my favorite "lunch spot" today, DARFONS. It was posted "no guns" so I disarmed, went in and cashed in my "rewards points card". I had over 1,000 points (a dollar per point) I asked to cash it in and they asked why I was not eating there today. I told them that it was due to their posting. They thought that I was kidding. I grabbed my gift cards that I earned with their rewards card and left. My company rents a room from them for our annual Christmas parties there every year... That will no longer be the case. I will hand their gift cards out to the homless family(man, lady, and dog) that I see in Donelson on my way to work. I went around the corner and ate at Bar-B- Cuttie. I spoke to the manager on duty as I was leaving. I thanked her for them removing their "no guns" posting. I told her that she will be getting more of my lunch money in the future and that my company would continue to use their catering service for our in-house meetings. Short version: Darfons Restaurant & Lounge 2810 Elm Hill Pike Nashville, TN 37214-3718 IS POSTED "NO GUN'S" As of 07/17/09
  9. Wow I didnt know that Tex's was still open. I will have to go there for lunch....maybe tomorrow.
  10. BBCuttie in Donelson remove their post Wednesday, I think. It is not posted today.
  11. Not sure if they are dry or not but Martin's BBQ has good ribs. Martin's Bar-B-Que - Page-6 | Menu
  12. I use the Wilson Combat Ultima-Lube Grease and Oil. CLP & Shooters Choice FP-10 are also in my kit. On my Garands and M1A I use the plastilube or lubriplate GI stuff.
  13. Hot damn the one on the left is NICE!
  14. My dad sent off to get my grandfatehrs records from his WWII paratrooper service (507th PIR). After several months they did tell us that his records were lost in "the fire". They did tell us of another ribbon/medal that he was qualified for but never received. We are working on that now. It would be worth filing the paper work to see what is out there on the OP's grandpa. How to Request Military Service Records or Prove Military Service (DD Form 214, DD-214, DD214
  15. 1,036,XXX is a spring tube. That is a plus as well IMO.
  16. There are a lot of Carbine collectors that would not agree with the "shoot it" statement... If it were mine I would not fire it. Get a CMP rack grade for that...or a WWII carbine that is not a bring back Winchester.
  17. NICE! The I cut stock, The flip rear sight, the push button safety, Type 1 barrel band (no bayo lug), are all early production parts and big $$$. The stock alone is a $400-500 stock. I would love to see what parts are in the trigger housing and other parts. What marks are on the barrell? The recoil pad with the W on it is correct. The magazine looks to be Inland Mfg (AI). Not a biggie but you may want to find a winchester for it. You need to get in touch with the Carbine club. They would love to have data on this Bring back Winchester I am sure. I wonder if it is a spring tube or not.... the spring tubes were used very early by Winchester. Without my book I cant tell.
  18. 1st Hunt in 150 years. TWRA hopes that it will go for $25,000+
  19. Looks great congrats
  20. Super glue??
  21. I will be going... I went to the one that they had earlier this year and was pleased with the stuff walking around at the show. It is a small show and the isles are tight if the same crowd turns out.
  22. Did you call from your cell phone where you could prove by you call record that you did try to contact them? Excellent question.... If you were on Work Comp and they did not have light duty avaliable then you had no choice but to stay home until the doctor released you from light duty. Sure, TN is a "right to work" State However, if you were on WC and they fired you because you were out with doctors orders on a WC claim then they may be in for a mess. Contact the Department of Labor if you were on WC.
  23. IMO something popped up when his BGC's did come in. If that is the case there is reference on the letter that states what the issue is. Did you see the letter or did he just tell you about it?
  24. You scored: 6 / 10 Total points: 60 The average score for this quiz: 3 / 10
  25. Very Nice Congrats
