  1. I would have one handgun, unless I get another, plus possibly one rifle. And a small gear bag. I could drive if necessary as long as I have a navigator.
  2. Pre 36, contacted S&W and they said it was made in 1953. Great gun, qualified for my HCP with it. Now I'm just waiting for my paperwork to clear. Shot a Springfield XD9 at the range today. Now I'm sure "I gotta have one!"
  3. I took my HCP class there, no problems. The instructor told us of the laws that were stated in the video that had been changed. Bought my handgun there, although the clerk I dealt with is no longer there.
  4. I would like to try this one, maybe if I could find someone, or two, to split gas from Oak Ridge area. Definitely want to make the next one here.
  5. Seriously though, when is the next Oak Ridge area meet n' eat n' shoot?
  6. How about this? http://www.coalcreekarmory.com/specials.html
  7. Turned my paperwork in and got my prints done on May, 30th. I had the choice of 2 places approved for fingerprinting. The DL office on Center Park Drive in Knoxville operates very efficiently. Had a short wait for my paperwork, Drove over to North Central and the fingerprints were a breeze.
  8. I got a speedloader there the other day. I've got my eye on a Taurus, I would like a snubby in .357 just for a little more punch than what I have now. But first, I need my HCP to arrive.
  9. Got mine taken in the Knox Co. School office on Central. Same day as my paperwork. Took a number @ DL office @12:18, @ 2:18 the last print was done. 3 hours and 10 min. from leaving home in OR to getting back, and this was a Friday.
  10. I got close to 20 feet up, if you change your body position wrong, you could fall and get injured. They told us of broken bones happening and a release had to be signed to participate.
  11. Yes, in Pigeon Forge. You couldn't pay me to try that today.
  12. April Fool's Day, also Good Friday, 1988.
  13. Hopefully, unless they are on drugs, or just don't care, the sound of racking a round into the chamber will cause them to exit.
  14. I got it at a pawn shop. Had to take it for repair, the guy who fixed it said if I ever wanted to get rid of it, he wanted it. Only charged me $15 labor and gave me the part for cost + shipping. He works evenings and weekends after his day job and said he enjoys working on older guns. I like the bottom eject it has.
  15. 12 ga. Remington Model 29. made around 1929-1931.

  17. Here are a couple members of my "unwelcome wagon".
  18. First, thanks to all who helped with my registration difficulties. Heard of this site from the new gun shop in town. Hope to meet some great folks online on this site.
