They are one of the better priced dealers in the area.

All guns are designed to kill, something. Some are better at it than other, but the genesis of firearms was in battle to kill the enemy more effectively. Humans being the crafty creatures we are discovered the practical and sporting applications in due time. I'll end the caliber debate. Anyone who thinks a certain caliber is a crap round, volunteers to take said round to the chest, or at a minimum the thigh... Ive yet to have takers all the way down to 22LR

I am active military with an Ohio Drivers Licence. I live/work in Tennessee so I do meet the requirements. I took the HCP class today but had to fill out the "long form" (as the instructor refferred to it) as I couldn't do the online deal through the state website as I have an out of state licence. I am going to the DL service center in Clarksville in the morning. How long will I likely ACTUALLY be waiting? As for the class I took it was great, I learned a few things in spite of having 15+years of shooting under my belt. I took the class for $32 at Clarksvile Guns and Archery for those who want to know. Josh was my instructor.

This is the only marking I could find on the barrel
-
No idea who made the barrel. Just know its nitrided 5.56 barrel with a 1:8 twist

I am planning on a more scientific range day soon with pictures and measurements

I know you are asking because of the lightweight barrel. There is no accuracy change that I can't blame on ammo or my technique after multiple shots. I'm confident I'm every bit as accurate with this as I am the M4 at work.

Yes the first AR I've owned. Been shooting uncle sam's version for 11 years though. It's mostly completed my gun collection. I no longer have any other guns I NEED for specific purposes.

I just picked up this Mag TActical AIR15 I've put about 300rds through it. Zero issues so far. The nitrided and Cerakoted parts make cleanup a breeze. I dont really know what to say about it, so feel free to ask away!!!

In case no one wants to read, I'll start with pictures.

Is it luck or do I just know how to care for pistols?

You may not consider a Sig 1911 or PK380 problematic, but if you searched any reviews of them you swear they are paper weights and that Sig and Walther don't even have a customer service number. Thats what I was kind of referring to, its crazy out here on the internet.....haha. Thanks on the congratulations, I'm loving these things, I also recently acquired a Taurus PT111 G2... haven't went shooting yet though. -
So far I have purchased two pistols that the Internet has said won't work/will be unreliable / etc. I cleaned them upon receiving them and lubricated them. Hundreds of rounds later not a single malfunction. .. My theory is lubrication is important. The pistols in question are a Sig 1911 and a Walther PK380 Anyone else have any similar stories?
