Basically it's comes down to school policy. Seems they are under a liability either way. But it sucks. I know what i would do but that's not what she would do....

I have a friend who is an elementary school teacher. Her school contract says no guns at all period. No guns in cars or trunks. So she basically goes unarmed to and from work. What if she goes shopping after school? What if she breaks down to or from school. How is this even possible ? I never thought about it like that. So basically she's only armed at home Monday-Friday... interesting scenario.

I got muzzle swept enough at my lgs this week that I'm all set. Don't need to go get swept all day in the parking lot and lines. You all enjoy though.

I've seen a guy using that rodenator. It seems to do more damage than the vermin but way more entertaining and rewarding to watch.

I've never seen a chipmunk in my yard. I don't want to poison them for that very reason.

Yeah I'm up to a hundred 2x4 holes in the front yard and nothing more. Guess they didn't like the ground there.

I did find these rodents alive and in my trash can I stored grass seed in. Tail looks too long to be a Vole. I'm starting to lean towards a vole. A mole is rather large. Just don't think that's what it is.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. I don't think it's an above ground animal now. The holes are 2-3" max, but the soft spots near the fresh dirt is a game changer now.

Little turds. Need to eradicate them. Before they do more damage. We have chickens that roam, so I have to be careful about what I put on the ground.

Yeah. Moles are pretty big animals right ? Like a rat? You'd think I'd have seen them.

I've gone out at all hours of the night and snuck up on the area from 100 yards out with a super bright spot light. I have yet to see anything. My golden retriever smells everything and he doesn't hit on the holes much. Most of the holes I've found stop 4" in. It's shallow enough you can see the obvious bottom of it. With maybe a cup or 1/2 cup of dirt around the hole. But tonight was the first night out of the 3-4 month mystery that I felt the ground soft. Right at the house foundation. I wouldn't think mice could or would burrow 6-8' long soft spots. My experience is nice just get in the house. They are making soft dirt up around the foundation and on the edge of the concrete patio edge off the back porch.

Way out front away from the house I've recently been finding 2" wide 4" deep holes that don't go anywhere. I thought it was an armadillo looking for grubs. Now up around the house I'm walking on soft spots and obvious fresh burrowing. It's dark now so I can't confirm a burrow.... But for the first time with these mystery holes, I feel soft ground. I've never ever had these issues. I'm out in the country and not near woods. I'm in pasture land. What am I likely finding here and how do I eradicate them? Ugghh

I still don't see it at wallyworld, but then again I don't go often. I have enough to be happy. I guess I just don't get it at all. It's not a great game round(besides rabbits and squirrels), it's not a great defense round, and truthfully, it's not a great training round. Without recoil and not being able to throw down 300-400 yard shots, I just don't understand why a plinking round is so hoarded. Academy is my go to place. I can usually grab what I need there. Although Musicman and I met in a Wally World while we were looking for ammo. Haha

I have 0 problems with them. During the first ammo scare they were still reasonable. Their transfer was just double what I found it for just now. It's just business not personal as the old saying goes.
