Price Drop..... -
Going to start transitioning away from .45, so this one is ready for a new home. Many folks think the ULCC is the ultimate carry pistol, and I certainly tend to agree. Just a perfect, small and light EDC gun. Specs here...... Ultralight Carry Compact - Wilson Combat Wilson Combat ULCC (Ultra Light Carry Compact) in .45ACP Original owner Sept 2014 Build Carried some in rotation Very Low Round Count (200 +/-) Outstanding Condition with just a hint of holster wear at muzzle end, and a very minor mark on front strap. Currently wearing a set of Buffalo grips. I do NOT have the WC grips. Night Sights still glow, but somewhat dimmer than when new. Comes with Wilson Combat Bag, all paperwork, Test Target, 2 WC Stainless Mags, etc. Selling for $2850 $2750 NOW $2675 I can meet anywhere around Knoxville NO Trades Many references if required. Please ignore any dust seen in pics.

How do I go about changing my email? Looked for a user CP as seen on other forums, but can’t find. The only thing I see is ability to change simple profile items, but not email.

Thanks guys. Looks like I will go ahead with the planned trip.

We are looking into moving from SW TN (where cows outnumber people and I have my own range) to the area around Knoxville (Tellico, Lenoir City, Vonore, etc) and I am wondering what to expect gun wise out there? Liberal gun hating tree huggers, Gun enthusiasts, neither side? What about any local asinine ordinances? Anything else you care to speak on about the area, feel free.

275 rds thru mine. Cleaned it once. No issues at all, although there is some striker drag which I consider normal.
-
Thanks David. Guess I will have to check one out.

I have numerous steel/alloy frames CZ's with one being a PCR with a full going over by Cajun Gun Works. A complete novice could shoot this gun well. Amazingly easy to shoot.

Springfield says it is an XDS with a hammer. Methinks their marketing people are all blind, deaf and dumb. Bigger in every way, heavier by a lot, horrible trigger and feels pretty much like a brick in hand. I handled one for 15 seconds and gave it right back to the store clerk. I love the XDS, but the XDE is a HUGE failure.
-
CT will sell for $125? Conversion to what? Just get yourself a OEM .357 Sig barrel and away you go. I have an older German 229 in .40 and it is a great gun. They do carry like bricks though, even being lightweight. How much does the guy want for it?
-
Good comparison, BUT........ Has anyone here used or know of anyone that used USCCA services and if so, did it go as the plan states?

There's nothing sneaky about a sneaky Pete holster, period.

Bill Summary ON APRIL 18, 2016, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1424, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #2 rewrites this bill to make the fee for a lifetime carry permit equal to the regular carry permit fee plus a lifetime carry fee of $200. Under present law, the regular permit fee is $115, so the lifetime permit fee would be $315. This amendment provides that a holder of a regular permit who is applying for renewal may obtain instead a lifetime permit upon payment of $200. This amendment also changes this bill's effective date from July 1, 2016, to January 1, 2017. Effective January 1st 2017 according to the bill summary. Figures, since mine is up in November.

No big deal, I'll just order from the online Bud's store as I have in the past. I was going to buy from a certain vendor here when I was in their area a couple weeks ago, but after not even having the courtesy to respond to a second PM, I wouldn't give them a dime.
-
Buds in Sevierville does NOT do the LEO/1st Responder program. Even had the counter guy go ask a manager. KY store yes, TN store, no.
-
Don't know where the heck you guyz are getting transfers for $10-15, but around here, cheapest is $25 and I thought that was great compared to others charging up to $50. I look at it like this...... If I order a S&W 442/642 from Buds online via the QP program, it costs $343 + insurance of about $12 (which I think is a crock of sht that they don't insure it) and knowing their pony express delivery, I have to wait 2 weeks to see it. So $355 + 25 transfer for $380 + TICS. If I am traveling and can go to the store, I would pay $343 (set program price) + tax =$374.72 + TICS. So yes, it's a wash, AND I get to walk out the door with it. Obviously, the higher the cost of the gun, the more the online deal makes sense, but to pay a few bucks more and be able to walk out with what you want is worth the price of admission. If I lived near the store, I would be broke by now.
-
Yes, but if the gun is the same price, tax vs transfer is pretty much a wash on an inexpensive gun. Plus, if purchased on any of the mfr.'s LEO program (which usually includes a wide array of 1st responders too), the prices are set by the mfr. So, if I can go to the store and buy the gun I want, it would actually be cheaper than doing it online.

Hmmmm, this could be an interesting trip!
