  1. I noticed my signatures are gone after the changeover. Is this something I have to go in and add back to my profile. If so I can't figure out how to do it. No big deal, just noticed it today and thought I would ask.
  2. Looks great. Tell the wife that this is over the top;
  3. The new site is working fine for me. I may not use many of the bells and whistle anyway because I tend to read a lot more than I post. I browse the classifieds, and some of the other categories and get in on the chat room some evenings. As for traffic, lately I have noticed it seemed down or maybe just not many threads that got my attention. Political discussion has a place here on TGO but it needs to remain just that, discussion, nobody wants to be personally attacked or told who they should be voting for. Many thanks to David and the mods for keeping TGO running smooth.
  4. I went today, no lines. I walked around and looked through all the tables. Bought a few mags and some ammo. I didn't see many good deals, everything seemed a little high to me.
  5. hanging aluminum pie pans or old cd's near the window, preferably country music cd's, will work most times.
  6. This bumper sticker would deter gun thieves but you might have more problems with vandals. Anybody want to test one of these out?. I don't think I could even stomach this one in the garage, but then again I don't even have a garage you can call home and ask my wife.
  7. I'm interested in pvc but would also like embroidered. +1 on leroy's earth tone option. I have seen this custom patch shop on the net; http://www.camotech.com/index.htm I don't have any personal experience with them but it looks like their minimum is low and they are a small business. Might be worth checking into.
  8. Simply Rugged makes some good belts as well as holsters. I bought one of these 5 years ago and wear it every day; http://www.simplyrugged.com/ecommerce/Real-Man-s-Gun-Belt-Single-Layer-of-Leather.cfm?item_id=171&parent=670
  9. You can get replacement ends for your battery cables that clamp on at an auto parts store. Make sure to pay attention to which one is positive and negative when replacing them, they are slightly different sized posts.
  10. Sorry to hear of his passing, I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
  11. Keltec Sub2000 with matching mags to your edc handgun might fit the bill. For some reason after reading through this thread I am picturing Oh Shoot wearing a Russian mafia tracksuit to go with his tennis racket case.
  12. I would recommend Dark Sword Tactical Holster; http://www.darkswordtactical.com/   He is local here in Blount County and I had him make me a holster for my Glock 22 with TRL1. Excellent holster and nice guy to deal with. I'm sure he can ship to you.
  13. I have 2 of the 17 round Mec-gar mags for my 5906. No problems at all.

  15. Rule 9: "Never go anywhere without a knife."   http://ncis.wikia.com/wiki/Gibbs's_Rules
  16. I've heard that Kenny Loggins lurks around there. Watch Out!
  17. Maybe we could turn the tables on ISIS and Nashville could head up a coalition effort to wipe them out. They could blast them with their nerve grating country music in a focused beam from a sonic weapon.    http://www.globalresearch.ca/coverStoryPictures/15298.jpg   They would just give up after a few hours.   +1 on TGO David's list, but he forgot one thing; Avoid country music.
  18. Randall's advice is spot on. Put the wires on the plug first and button that up. Kill the main and install the breaker, then terminate all the wires on that end, red and black on the breaker, white with the other whites on the neutral bar, green with the bare grounds.   I'm not an electrician but I play one on tv.
  19. If you could post a pic of your panel it might help to clear up what Randall53 is talking about. You want to make sure your panel has both "hot" legs for 220 volts for the 2 pole breaker.
  20. The outer "hot" terminals for your black & red wires are usually colored gold or bronze, the neutral terminal for your white wire is usually silver, and the ground is usually green. You are correct that the neutral is in the center and the hots are on the outsides. The 50 amp 2 pole breaker is correct.   This diagram may help:   http://www.generatorsforhomeuse.us/wp-content/uploads/14-50r.png
