And that's crazy, too, because the Shield trigger absolutely SUCKS. Every time I've shown one to a customer, they ALWAYS decide on something else after they try the trigger. The ONLY ones I've sold is when the customer just wants it and doesn't even TRY the trigger.

IMO, just another mistake. When has the SLIDE ever been the concealment issue? It's always been the GRIP. Yes, it's the same 30SF frame. If you can conceal a regular one, why bother with the slide?   I think they feel like they don't need to listen to any customer base. They are GLOCK; they could  :poop: in a Tupperwatre box, and people will buy it.

No, I don't. Sam Hoster's been going up there for some time now, working with them on their 1911's. I bumped into him the other day in Wal-Mart. We were chatting, and I asked him how everything was going. He said great, and I mentioned I heard a rumor. He confirmed it for me. Said they've bought the property, but he didn't know where it was. Guess we'll find out soon!

Sam Hoster from Gallatin was Remington's go-to guy during the development. He was just back up there a week or so ago doing some more with them.
