  1. My boss used to own an M82. Nice rifle. I never liked the recoil operation though. And having to break it down for storage so those 2 monster springs don't take a set and get weak. I never tried to shoot it from a standing position, but I did several times with an AR50. Ya know, just to prove to newbies that it wouldn't 'kill' them from the recoil.
  2. I saw Darwin in the subject and first assumed it would be a D.R.T. story.
  3. My boss (aka company President) is more into the 'culture' than I am. If it was in the handbook, which I haven't seen anywhere in the text, he'd likely not enforce it unless forced to.
  4. So, I wouldn't be covered (sans permit) in a company-provided vehicle if I read that correctly? I have a HCP so this is purely academic.
  5. Owl Hollow sounds familiar, but I thought it was a range in Gadsden, AL that the local cops took over for their private use. That was where I made my last 100yd pistol shots.
  6. I used to hit 4" cinder blocks at 100yds more than I missed. I'd take a pie plate challenge at 100yds any day of the week. CZ-52.
  7. Carrot on a stick is what this is. It'll never make it through. sorry to be pessimistic, but that's the way I see it. Tired of being strung along over needing permission to exercise a right.
  8. "We've got to protect our phony-bologna jobs! Ha-rumph!"
  9. Well, when a 100,000+ volt transmission line drops onto a 25,000 volt residential distribution line.... Fireworks ensue.
  10. So, box 22 on the NFA form doesn't apply in TN because of the TCIS middleman? I know GA doesn’t do NCIS for NFA if it's a trust.
  11. When is this supposed to come up for a vote? I'm assuming since this is a legislation issue that the new guns in vehicles law w/ HCP does not trump postings at county parks?
  12. Yeah, that was only my parsing based on past ATF idiotic behavior.
  13. Placing the bare buffer to your shoulder has the same connotation as doing it with a Sig brace from what I've read on this board. ATF has gone stupid(er) with the latest round of rulings.
  14. I've seen NSA Substation at a hotel before. And when I worked a few jobs in Auburn near the university, there was one called Ass Grabbers Faggots Fanclub. Go figure. Back then I left my highgain antenna scanning from Montgomery on the drive home. Out of 2000+ hotspots over 50% were open.
