  1. I would've responded that I am the most important person in the state, and Gov B should know this already. I expected better performance out of the governor. This I would file an official complaint on Mr. Mason for his clear lack of respect for a lawful citizen of the State of Tennessee.
  2. A bunch of us open carrying in our favorite restaurants isn't a good idea. That's a damn good way to get it posted IMHO.
  3. I got the canned response too. Yea... My response: Apparently, you missed the part about consumption of alcohol while carrying was still illegal.
  4. Let me clarify my comment. He has stated that he is a volunteer. He is not compensated: therefore, his registration is BS.
  5. I've never had a problem with mine unless it clearly bounced off of the divider at the range.
  6. Personally, I think that the idea of having to register as a lobbyist to express yourself to lawmakers is complete BS.
  7. In no way was I volunteering to do it. I don't know if the forum's programming is capable other than to break up the area via the 4 major cities, and have a sticky thread for each.
  8. Unfortunately, it seems to be the trend in business to get others to pay for what you need. I think it spills over either from or too society in general. Think of how many youth organizations that you see on the streetcorners panhandling for donation for whatever purpose. When I was young, my parents would never dream of telling/allowing me to doing anything other than to get a job to acquire the funds to do whatever I wanted to do.
  9. And I got a response from Tracy already: 6-2-09 Steve, Thanks for your email asking me to help override the Governor's veto on Senate Bill 1127 with regard to the Restaurant Carry Law. Please be assured that I will continue to support this legislation. Best regards, Jim
  10. Fired off my email: Mr. Coleman: I support and appreciate any effort that you make to stand up to our less than stellar governor’s veto of HB962, and over-ride it.
  11. Everyone is just a brain-fart away from a really bad day when they handle a gun. All the more reason not to handle weapons when you're tired.
  12. This is an unrealistic stretch considering the incredible luck that one would need to have in order to be able to discover that you post here when one considers the use of screen names. There are also those who share screen names. I have known of members who's wives and even older children post under their screen name. There's no way to prove that YOU are the one who actually posted any comment.
  13. Thanks, fellas. I guess I'll be going to Mt. Juliet tomorrow.
  14. Any advantages to going to the reseller in Mt. Juliet versus ordering from Dillion directly?
  15. .308, 223, and 9mm. Perhaps .338 LAPUA in the future if wifey allows it.
  16. I'm planning on purchasing reloading equipment, and I have had this press recommended to me. Who has experience with it, and is it a good press?
  17. Chief Surpuss is here at Dell today for some meeting. I saw him the the cafeteria and wanted to dress him down a bit, but I figured that wouldn't go over with the bosses too well.
  18. What I sent to Bosco's: "I have been informed that you posted your restaurants to not allow licensed, law-abiding citizens to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights by carrying their concealed handguns into your establishments to enjoy a meal before the bill allowing them to do so even became law. Neither I, my family, my friends, nor anyone else that I influence will patronize your business. I’m sure you’ll be comfortable knowing that only criminals will enter your establishment while armed. Good luck with that."
