  1. The problem is that by the time you pay transfer fees it's not a good deal.
  2. Apparently he thinks there's a training requirement in the 2A.
  3. "Out of stock"
  4. Without evidence he could have died from many things.
  5. IIRC, they were younger than that in Vietnam.
  6. They drive around without their seat belt on too, and that doesn't stop them from writing tickets for it.
  7. Sounds like a good woman ya got there.
  8. That seems counter-intuitive. Usually you have to let the small fish go. I hate fish but I used to love to catch and release.
  9. As a former Marine I can't imagine being in a combat zone absent my rifle to allow anyone the opportunity to screw with it.
  10. I felt the same way when I first heard about them, but when I was pursuing a job at Taser selling the cameras I was shocked at how often the police were cleared from false claims. That resonated with me since the only time that I was sued as a cop was when the suspect fabricated a claim that I body-slammed him on the ground. If I had the camera that lie would never made it past my Chief.
  11. You think that a cop can't see you holding a cell phone to your head when you pass them or when they come up behind you? If I was so inclined I could have written a crap-ton of no seat-belt tickets, and that's a lot harder to see.
  12. According to the Corpsman that teenager was about to be turned over to an Iraqi unit known for raping, torturing, and murdering its prisoners. He clearly saw it as a mercy killing. But as far as the defendant is concerned it sounds as though we could be charged with attempted murder. As far as shooting at civilians is concerned I can't imaging someone of his caliber missing an old man and a young girl unless it was on purpose. On purpose in a combat zone would be warning them to remove themselves from the area before they fall victim to violence.
  13. I think crowds are inherently evil. That's why I try to stay away from them.
  14. IIRC, THP has tractor/trailer rigs that they use to look down into cars to see if the driver is texting. If they would go to that extreme for texting then what makes you think they can't enforce hands free which is much more visible?
  15. They don't say.
  16. Looks like nice work.
  17. I was in there on Memorial Day to see if they had received any more stock of Ruger Wranglers. Unfortunately, they had not. It certainly is a big place. They added some stuff to the bottom floor but I didn't have enough time look since I was on my way back home from Gatlinburg. Bud's is a place I've yet to visit.
  18. I agree; it wouldn't be a good life choice for you. EDIT for clarity: Police don't always get the right house. As long as they identify themselves as police you are criminally liable for shooting at them. That is if you survive the confrontation.
  19. Aren't drunks just wonderful?
  20. Anyone pointed out to these morons that it was Feds who killed him; not the police?
  21. Given the source of the report I'll ignore it as total Bull
  22. All I can say is that if someone that I don't know comes into my house uninvited they will develop an acute case of lead poisoning unless they've identified themselves as police. I don't care if/what they have in their hands.
  23. But that's the rub: they aren't politicians; they're judges. They could easily put all of the anti-2A Bull to bed but they don't.
