  1. We heat with wood all the time we have 2 wood stoves one upstairs and one downstairs. Last night was the first time I've ever cooked on ours. We kept it simple and just made spaghetti. Some points I would like to add is to store food that you can easily cook. Whether that means rice or noodles and sauce. Or some sort of dehydrated food. There is little temperature control when cooking on a wood stove. Have cookware that won't get hurt if you do have to cook over open flame. I have stainless and cast iron none of which have composite or wooden handles. Buy extra feminine supplies for your ladies. During this past week when I went to the store for some extra groceries I had to pick some up and I thought about how bad it would be if I couldn't get out as was the case yesterday.
  2. Rifle dynamics and destructive devices inc both produce ak rifles here in the states. DDI is in Knoxville
  3. Anything newer than 96 for sure and probably older will always have a drain for computer and radio and clock memory, but you right about pulling fuses I would use a meter on amp setting should be no more than 2-3 amp draw if it is pull fuses till the amp draw drops.
  4. Guess I should play along now. My better half and I from last year at Lulu's in Gulf Shore Same trip, my first ever saltwater catch. No guide or charter just some advice from the bait shop Last one, a shot my wife took. She likes to play with her camera, my best "Thinking Man" lol
  5. I use photobucket app and use code just like you would from a pc.
  6. I am not going to let an intruder know where I am by racking a shotgun. The boom of a 12 gauge is a better deterrent, I guarantee it.
  7. Snapped this shot of Juice today, he was afraid of the wheel barrow the other day when I got it out so today I took the opportunity to train him a little I put him in and told him to sit and stay and he didn't move till I told him to come. He is the best trained dog I've ever had he learns really fast and listens fairly well. I try to work with him daily but don't always get to.
  8. The picture isn't the greatest but it's my most recent, Juice the husky mix at 6 months and Mandy the Catahoula Cur at 5 months in front of their dog house with fresh Christmas decorations. They share that house, its built on a 4'x4' frame. Juice just being cool he loves to hang out in the living room with us. Mandy in her bed. She is very lazy, she loves her bed.
  9. I ride a 1980 Suzuki PE400, its an enduro style 2 stroke with low gearing its made for off road and trails not too much top speed. I would say anything 250 or bigger is great for your average adult male. As for 2 vs 4 stroke I love the simplicity of a 2 stroke, no timing to worry about no valve train to worry about just fuel compression and fire. The downside of two strokes is that peak power and torque usually come in a burst not smooth and gradual like a 4 stroke, but I've seen too many times where this has been used to the riders advantage, so I don't consider it a problem. Gearing is key for a 2 stroke, in w two stroke its better to be in a lower gear turning more rpms than to be in a higher gear turning lower rpms.
  10. I haven't opened mine yet but I know what my brother got me. A new dremel 4000 with and big accessory kit. We play dirty Santa at my in-laws so my gift to throw in the pot is a dremel workstation. Pics in the next day or two
  11. Merry Christmas to all you guys and gals hope every has a great time with their families and you get something on your wish list.
  12. I don't care to tell how much it cost and I think it was very reasonable. $10 for lane rental $25 for full auto rental plus ammo. I would dare say probably the cheapest full auto rental around.
  13. I kept my target I'll post a picture of it tomorrow
  14. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face all evening lol
  15. Tactical advantage corp, formerly Coal Creek Armory in Knoxville. This was the second time I've ever shot full auto, my first time was shooting a sten
