  1. BINGO. What would you need to come to Nashville to run one of these? Room and board? Per diem...etc?
  2. I have it, love it. The package we got ended up costing as much as our Comcast deal, but the ablity to record 4 shows, start watching in the living room, finish that show in the bedroom, etc. I will warn you that ATT screws with POP3. You can't use a "business" POP3 e-mail address. You have to use your ATT e-mail. That happenned to a client of mine, and to my wife.
  3. Oh it gets better...I just found out they had a "incident" involving a trespasser, sissors and hide and seek with one of the security guards last night at the off campus location. great....just friggin great. No one bled, but just another thing to worry about
  4. They get student loans and grants money from the feds
  5. I do tech supportfor a small private college in Middle TN. I was told today TO carry my handgun by one of the administrators. They know I carry, they know I'm a instructor. I told them I legally can't. Now...I've read the law as written, there doesn't seem to be any exceptions to the law. They seem to think it would be legal to carry with permission, I say no...what say you?

    Windows 7

I'm running Win 7 pro on my laptop Vista Ultimate on my desktop XP Home on my netbook Vista Business on my OQO Don't really have a problem with any of them doing anything other than VPN on the 64 bit machines. Actually I'm hunting for a decent VPN client to connect to Netgear VPNs on Vista 64 bit if any of the geeks want to chime in. Safepoint HAD a client, but now the link has been pulled from their site
  7. My 1st carry gun was a Sig 220. One in the pipe, full mag, two spares. Only thing that has changed today is now I usually carry a 1911 in the same configuration
  8. lock them in the same room with broken beer bottles, tell them the winner gets the job...see how it goes
  9. The .40 is packaged that way to overcome its low self esteem. It knows deep down inside it's not quite as good as the .45 The .45 is packaged the way it is due to its extreme awesomeness. The only thing that can handle looking a .45 ACP round dead in the eye is ANOTHER .45 ACP round. If you put a .40 into the .45 box, it would poop out a 22 and a .17 due to fear
  10. My "normal" parts are 36X30. My IWB carry pants are 38X30. Works just fine. Now...the Eotac pants that claim they are 38X30 are like 138X30. I could carry every one of my pistols IWB at the same time and still have some room to hit the buffet line several times
  11. that's what sucks about working for/with family, ya can't call in sick
  12. Have to say..that sold me on NOT buying anything from Useltons ever in the future. Customer service goes a LONG way in making something worth the money...if this is the level of service their employees give...no thanks.

    New job!

Great news Arko!!! Enjoy your weekend
  14. More replys: Nashvillle Metro has NOT contacted me regarding this. Its all rumor. Then: In reality, a “straw purchase” is when a person buys a gun for another person and the other person is not allowed to buy a gun himself. Therefore if that is what is portrayed in the video then the Bloomberg people hired Felons to conduct their investigation? No laws were broken and thats why there are no arrests either..... Now...ME talking I don't think it was straw pruchases...it was selling to the person...in person...that couldn't pass a background check. Perhaps it IS true and Goodmans is trying to find alternate arrangements before letting the news out...perhaps its Karls wet dream...time will indeed tell
  15. I sent them a link to this thread. Perhaps it's something they aren't aware of yet.
  16. i figured you'd like that one Daniel :-)
  17. I e-mailed Goodman: My E-mail: It has been rumored that Metro Nashville Government has told you that your gun shows are no longer welcome @ the Tn State Fairgrounds. Is there any truth to this His response: Negative. The Fair is no longer, therefore they dont need a fair board. Effective June 30, 2010 the Fair property reverts to the City (Metro). After June 30th we believe that the city will continue to manage the property as long as they are making money.
  18. Redhead, breathtakingly handsome, has a unnatural addiction to 1911s, knows about your Hello Kittly Sabre AR wedding present
  19. Howdy Daniel....wondered when you'd stumble into TGO :-)
  20. Unless there is a warrant involved, NO ONE GAINS ENTRY TO MY HOME
  21. Remove the opt out provision for the parks-too piecemeal now. You can carry here, you can't there. If you post your business then you MUST provide armed security at all times, both inside and in the parking areas. IF you don't and something happens you are held responsible. Can't make it illegal to post private property, but you can hold them to a higher standard. Force the state to remake the damn HCP training video. Those two guys make me want to sut my ears off with a empty shell casing Require ALL places that are off limits to post a PROPER sign. local, state and federal buildings asl well. The signage requirement now are (imo) fine. If they don't post the proper legal signage, then there is no penalty for carrying there, other than being asked to leave.
  22. Sig 239 Springfield EMP
  23. meth or moonshine...one or the other
