Here's my question: Where in the law did it lay the liability of serving a HCP holder at the business owner’s feet? I guess someone COULD sue if they get shot by a HCP holder who decides to go off the reservation, risk losing their freedom, permit and gun by having a drink and shooting someone, but..Where in the law does it say if they so serve someone in possession of a gun they are liable? They don't have any problem serving drivers do they? If they go full stupid (like tootsies) and buy friggin metal detectors, are they stopping people with keys in their pocket? Fine. Change the law removing their liability…but PUT the additional liability of providing armed security and make them 100% liable for whatever happens on their property…including the parking lot IF they choose to disarm us. Place the liability on them if a gun gets stolen out of their parking lot. Nikki, your're a much better person than me. I don't think I could sit that close to stupid without showing my...butt in a big way. I'm sick and damn tired of these idiots thinking they know whats best.

I wish it would go further. If they DO post, then they SHOULD be responsible for providing security for their employees and/or patrons...and they are responsible for anything that happens to you on that property. I'm sick of this "have your cake and eat it too" BS they are pulling. They want to use their percieved libility for posting, but IF they do post and something happens..then they don't want to be responsible for what happens. Why would they be responsible for a permit holders actions, but not a bad guys? If they can get sued for ME shooting someone, why cant someone like Nikki sue them for the lack of security?

I think robo has it nailed. The Myspace link looks like the logo on the car. I never see it move. I would think that metro would not want their CSU cars marked up like that. the car is close enough to a "normal" patrol car that they could very very easily pull someone over...but has no offical goverment markings. Great...instead of a LEO letting his kid run up and down the street on a quad runner with no helment, I have a ex leo...not sure that makes it better.

Thers is a fella who lives up the street from me, don't know him from Adam, never met him, etc, which is why I'm posting here instead of asking mim myself. He is/was/used to be MNPD. He had a patrol car parked in front of his house, saw him in uniform, he is/was a cop. Now...all of a sudden, he has a black/gray Dodge Charger marked up with "Crime Suppression Unit" all over it. The door emblems, desklid, etc...all say Crime Suppression Unit, no city/state agency...nothing to mark it as a "partrol car" If he's no longer leo, and a security guard now thats one thing. If that's a police car of the future, I'm not liking it. I don't think I'd pull over for a "crime Suppression Unit" cruiser with no goverment markings on it. /tinfoil/ perhaps he's obamas czar of the new community police force/tinfoil/ Anyone else see any cars marked like that?

My business is usually down a bit in the summer, this year it's worse. I've sold two guns to pay some bills, which makes me depressed. I have clients flat out refusing to pay their outstanding invoices...depressing on the plus side, next month my biggest client is supposed to unfreeze their tech work, and I have a metric a$$load of projects scheduled out there. I just sent a rather large bid in on a new wireless project as well, we'll see how that goes.

There are numerous people here that hold classes. myself included. Guns and Leather in Greenbrier CIS in Smyrna Goodlestville Gun Shop in...wait for it....Goodletsville I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the instrucuctors/ classes, but you get the idea. I teach at HGR in Gallatin, we charge 80.00 for the class, 20.00 for the range. I'm not sure on the others pricing strutures, but I'm sure they'll be along directly to fill in the blanks.

I'm stil ltrying to figure out why the guy isn't screaming in pain after having his leg slammed in the door 4 or 5 times. I was on my phone and didn't know he was there, couldn't figure out why the door wouldn't shut so I slammed it with my foot a few times.
