If you want a instructor that doesn't inject humor...or a bit of their own attitude then you're SOL. buy some DVDs and watch at home. IF you want a solid training experiance, then CIS does a GREAT job of taking classroom theroies and putting them into "real world" situation and range drills. You can also look for NRA Personal Protection In the Home/Outside the home in your area...but the instructors are going to be...people. I'm a certified NRA instructor, and I try to get in a CIS class when I can. level Ii would be NICE though :-)

I've been in a rather heated e-mail debate with the ...person that co sponsored the resolution. They're dead set against it, and the resolution was signed by carpetbagger dean today. I believe the law on the govs desk allows the parks to be closed with a mere resolution by a city council. IF this is the case and it makes it into law, I'd bet various body parts that the very next Council meeting the metro parks are all closed

Quoting Canynracers post: Examples of qualifying documentation to prove residency include: utility bills, lease agreements, credit card statements, and pay stubs from the purchaser’s place of employment, if such documents include residential addresses. If you sign a lease with Vandy then that will work as well it seems.

We're in the process of building a wheelchair for one of our dogs out of PVC. We found plans on the ye old interweb. Got a drill press (hey...any excuse to buy new tools) and started drilling holes. Can't keep 'em straight to save my life. Any tips or tricks would be helpful. Drill press has a table clamp installed (now) but kepping the line of holes straight escapes me.

AR in the cargo area. It won't LIVE there...I won't leave it in the car 24/7 but it will be nice to have the option. -

Just got this in from the TFA: We have been advised by several sources and have confirmed that the Governor's office is keepinh a "for/against" tally on the gun bill HB0962. It is important to call and to have everyone you know call. We need to send Bredesen a clear message that there are a siginficant number of voters who want to see this bill not just passed into law but SIGNED into law by him! There are many more gun bills to come down the path and it is important for him to hear from the voters and gun owners of Tennessee because if there are other bills that are closer, we need the extra push. The Governor can be reached by phone at (615)741-2001 or email Phil.Bredesen@tn.gov. FIREMISSION as they say over at AR15.com

yes....and I for one with my scores would have washed away in the rain -
1. usev good holster. I use a TT Gunleather iinstead of waiting forever for a Milt Sparks 2. get a GOOD gunbelt...not a "normal" belt 3.(inside the wasteband) buy your pants 1 or 2 sizes larger than normal I carry a full size 1911 inside the waistband all day, every day. No problems at all

Nighthawk, Ed Brown. I own, shoot and carry both brands. the had fitment, hand checkering, the smooth as glass slide/frame fit and the more personal customer service if needed make them worth the extra money. I've compared the slide/frame fit on my Eds and NHCs to my Kimber, Springfields, etc, the higher end guns are fit better. Don't get me started on a nice Nighthawk trigger...it's a thing a beauty Quick story, I sent a Nighthawk back in to have ambi's installed. There was some miscommunication in pricing, and they lost my gun on top of it. I made ONE post on a 1911 forum griping about it. The next day Guns and Leather (who handled getting the work done for me) got a call from Nighthawk telling him to comp the entire job because they had a unhappy customer and they (Nighthawk)wanted to make it right. THAT is customer service. No muss, no fuss, no arguements. They not only fixed the problem, apologized for the mess, they went out of their way to make it right. Kimber, Springfield, etc (which I ALSO own) are too "big" to do that.
