  1. this gun is a breeze to hide in pockets.   It is a challenge to shoot it well, however...
  2. I retired here last year from NY where the two large state parks allow hunting - about 1/2 of the NY land mass.   ,,,just wondering.
  3. How about an off-duty cop?  Can the cop carry into a federal PO?
  4. ,,,the first time I walked into a bank, I was concerned but it no longer phases me and I OC fairly often.
  5. I OC a fair amount, mostly walking the dogs.  When I'm in a store, I generally conceal it but I use an OTW holster and sometimes I carry a very large revolver.   then I just pull my shirt over the gun but it shows.   ...the law allows OC, so I don't frek out when the shirt rides up.   ...live with it!
  6. My TN gun permit is not recognized in NJ.  Can I travel there if my handgun is empty and locked in a box in the trunk?    The outing will require a hotel stay for two nights.
  7. ...just checked with some NY folks.   Apparently, larger auto guns are on the shelves but they come with mags that limit ammo capacity to 10 rounds.
  8. I own a couple of Glocks.  I never had a single BTF.   However, when these same guns were shot by two novice friends, both complained that both guns gave them BTF.   I attribute this to limp wrist shooting.......
  9. I've been an auto guy mostly but I'm considering a new revolver - S&W or Ruger.     Apparently, these makers are producing revolvers all with internal locks as a result of contractual obligations entered into during the Clinton gun-grab in the early 90s.    How do the internal locks work?   I've seen a few complaints that the internal locking systems freeze up during use, apparently as a result of normal recoil.   Do most folks modify their guns to remove the locks;  "How To" videos are on the Web...?
  10. Yeh, but do the NY gun stores have any high capacity auto guns on shelves?   my sources, say NO!  ...basically, it is a new world up there - just revolvers and a few pocket autos.
  11. ahhhh, you have to own a few Glocks to appreciate that one......      However, I still love them.  They don't rust much, I can tear them down with no tools, and they go bang when I pull the trigger.....
  12. How about the impact of the crazy new gun laws that have been past recently?  In NY, for example, you cannot buy any handgun that holds more than 7 rounds.   That means law enforcement can have a 15 round Glock and the public can only have a 6-shot revolver.   That has got to increase demand for revolvers....
  13. The Bodyguard is very concealable.  Hitting the center of a target, however, is NOT easy.   It is not my favorite carry gun but it does get used some.  It is also not easy to field strip without tools which is important to me.  Glocks are king here, I suppose.
  14. Did this once with a Glock 27.  You need huge pockets and the printing through your pants is fairly obvious.  If I want to carry this gun concealed, I use and outside the pants holster and I wear a long shirt.
