  1. I love my Skeletool. It is small enough to fit in your pocket and still has great features. Mine has a non-sedated blade and some carbon fiber parts. It costs a bit more, but the staight edge was worth it. You can pick up the standard model for around 30 dollars. Bottle opener is never a bad thing to have on hand. i also have the Wave. It is great, but I don't carry it every day.
  2. After some other comments that were made, the HK seems to be the way to go. I am on my phone at the moment and can't see where you are located. I am in Franklin. If you are anywhere close, this first timer would enjoy seeing the process.
  3. I hate reading things like this, because now I want to build one. https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Receiver-Flat-HK-91-G3-PTR-CETME-p2320.htm This is the same flat, but has been folded/rolled. I don't know the proper terminology. This would have to go through an FFL. http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-accessories/ptr-nnr-308-receiver-detail.html?Itemid=0 I found several barrels, but none that I was truly excited about. Does any one have the jig to roll the flat?
  4. Leatherman Skeletool, but sometimes I am just happy to see her.
  5. If you are anywhere close to Bellevue. You owe it to your self to stop in. It has the nicest indoor range I have seen in TN.
  6. I love a good skinner, and that is impressive!
  7. I am glad you are not making anymore, or you would have more of my money. Great Blade.
  8. Great work! Your photography is excellent, it helped bring the gun back to life in this thread.
  9. Who makes that rear sight? I like the green.
  10. Congrats! You have had a more productive day than me. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  11. Microsoft must thinks that TGO is tame compared to the other stuff you were looking at in your old computer.
  12. Same, I just bought my second from him, or I would be all over this.  If it is still available at the end if the month PM me.
  13. I am not planning on building a precision AR, but I am planning on building a AR in the future.  As someone who has never attempted it, these videos are great and set up an excellent blue print.  Thanks for posting.
  14. I am 6'7" and over 3 bills, but what ever scrap I get in better be over in 5 minutes. At that point I will be having a heart attach and with no power, there will not be a defibrillator to bring me back.
  15. I can pat my head and rub my belly at the same time.
  16. The problem is not what it looks like. The problem is irresponsible gun owners, that don't properly store their firearms. I teach my kids about firearm safety, but if I left one not properly locked up, they would pick it up no matter what it looked like.
  17. I agree! That is exactly what I meant with my statement at the bottom of the original post. There are many great craftsmen on TGO and I enjoy seeing all their efforts.
  18. This review is over due. I recently asked Grand Torino to make me a knife and he graciously obliged. The knife he made exceeded my expectations, but we all have seen the quality of work that he can produce. I asked him to send the knife to East TN Patriot for a leather sheath. In my world 1911s, revolvers and knives need a leather sheath and this knife received one of the nicest sheaths I have ever seen. Both the knife and sheath are functional works of art. The best part about the sheath is the wearer can customize it to their needs. It is modular and can be taken apart and put back together in any configuration. When I am camping I plan to wear it horizontally across the back of my belt in this fashion. The following are other arrangements and closeup pics of the sheath. The other loop on the back is for a fire stick. We have many great craftsmen on TGO and I enjoy seeing all of the creative items they make. Thanks again to GT and East TN Partiot for a great knife sheath combo. Matt
  19. WHAT AN HONOR I have the distinguished honor of being on the Committee to raise $50,000,000 for a Monument to Hillary R. Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two more faces. We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the Statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside her husband William J. Clinton, who never told the truth, since Hillary could never tell the difference. We finally decided to place it beside the Statue of Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else's money.
  20. People make things stand for what every they want it to. Some people think this is a Chinese Restraunt sign, some people think it stands for something else.
  21. I am a Metallica - Punisher - Chris Kyel fan. Can't all the head bangers, nerds and gun advocates just get along? Seriously, I got a new to me truck last year and I didn't put any stickers like that on the back of my truck for the same reason.
