  1. I load everything I shoot, .22LR the obvious exception. For me it’s an essential part of shooting. Using someone else’s ammo (factory) is the same as using automatic transmissions. If you’re not deciding which gear to use, you’re letting some technology choose. Yes, my cars have three pedals. No judgement of what others choose.
  2. I looked into this unit. My concern is that the rechargeable battery is not user replaceable. This fact is not evident from their website or the owner’s manual. I inquired through the website and learned that if/when the battery dies after the one year warranty it will cost $100 to “repair.” That was enough for me to stay away.
  3. I get 115 grain .356 cast RN locally, Moyers in Madisonburg PA. $10 per hundred, loaded for the CZ75b.
  4. IMR 3031, H322 and AA2230 with 52-55 grain bullets
  5. I have several, but "love" is a bit strong for firearms or calibers. (To each his/her own.) No pix, but: 1980s 686 6" 1980s Blackhawk 6.5" blue GP100 4" blue
  6. I had a BFR 45-70, mostly out of curiosity. After the first time shooting with standard pressure loads, I discovered a loose, broken lower frame screw. I returned it to local gun shop who, after several months, never sent it back to get repaired. I got a full refund. As with many things these days, another expensive product with questionable quality.
  7. I gave up trying to measure those powders with my 550B many years ago. I don't know of any powder measures that can meter large grains accurately. I use an old Belding and Mull to get close to weight and then finish with an equally old RCBS trickler. This is not a about speed, it's about accuracy. And safety.
  8. Is it the ammo? Or was it stored improperly?
  9. Clarksville Gun. and Archery has an indoor range. Nice facility and good people. http://www.clarksvillegunsandarchery.com
  10. My Linn LP12, since 1988, continues to play music beautifully, at least 15 hours a week. Digital is convenience. Analog plays music.
