1. I have a very strange attraction to the Zastava m70a and m88a pistols.  Thoughts?
2. I've always loved watching Hickok45 youtube videos.  I'm subscribed and watch each video the day they are released.  I love his informational yet subtlety humorous videos.   For pure hilarity, watch CarniK Con:  www.youtube.com/user/CarnikConShow  His vid on LMGs is too funny.   LMG Vid Link = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTwkM7gpx5E&list=UUfdBzQc8yZKkk-5N-8GYHDg   "I don't have time to load magazines man!  I don't have time!"
3. Can anyone help on determining who my CLEO is in my area?  Spring Hill (Williamson Cty).
4.   They are not very far from me.  I should stop by!  Thanks for the tip!
5. These Smiths intrigue me.  I've done some reading about them and have read a lot about spongy or otherwise lack-luster triggers.  Is that true?   I did also see that KelTec offers the Sub2000 that takes S&W magazines which would make a nice pairing.  Did anyone ever offer a "larger than 15 rounds" capacity and reliable magazine for them?   I still haven't had time to hit any of the stores to get my paws on more stuff (in-laws were in town... ugh).
6. If I can throw a wrench into this request, revolvers in .357 are on the table so long as they have "real" rear sights (not embedded into the top strap).   Also does anyone know where in the Nashville area I can get my hands on one of the 2nd-3rd gen Smith autos?  I've never held one and hand/grip fit is a big deal to me as I have Hickok45 sized hands and fangers.
7.   Yeah I definitely need to go rent some.  I know Nashville Armory has a range with rentals.  Do any others in the area?
8.   When is the next in the Nashville/Franklin/Spring Hill area?   Also Nashville Armory was a really nicely run place.  Can't say I've been to one as nice.
9. I'm new to the area so I don't know what to expect from either...
10. I have a Dr. appointment in Franklin today and planned stopping by the Franklin gun store but they are closed on Mondays.  Boo.     I guess I'll stop by the Armory instead.
11.   Realistically under $450 OTD.
12.   I lived in Fairfax/Loudoun counties for 33 years and did all my schooling there too so I have definitely seen the downhill change.
13.   I know, but unfortunately I can't shoot polymer framed handguns for the life of me.  They just don't feel right in my hands (grips and balance mainly).
14. I've owned two C&R rifles in the past and (foolishly) sold them.  I never got my C&R license but now that I'm a home owner, I'm considering it.   My concern though, is whether it's too late to get into C&R.  Prices are skyrocketing.  Eligible firearms are getting harder to find.  Surplus ammo also seems harder to find.   Are these fears unfounded or is there something to all this?   Thanks.
15. Any suggestions on budget night stand and range gun in 9mm?     I'm juggling between the Canik55 Shark FC and Stoeger Cougar but was wondering if there were any suggestions.     I do have a preference towards metal framed firearms and since this would primarily be a nightstand and range gun, weight isn't too much of an issue.  A decocker would be a nice-to-have as I believe it takes some of the risk/guess work out of lowering the hammer.  Definitely something with a good reputation (which is why I'm looking at the two above since they are based off solid models).     Would any of know of a store that carries either or both of the two I've mentioned in the Nashville to Spring Hill corridor?  I'd like to handle anything before I purchase.   Thanks!
16. Thanks for the warm welcomes!   Regarding "dashboard carry", I was never brazen (stupid) enough to actually do it, but it was legal.  It was considered open carry (which didn't require a CCW in VA).  Is open carry legal in TN?
17. Hi everyone.  I'm a recent transplant from the DC Metro area (Fairfax, VA to be more specific - home of the NRA HQ).  The family and I recently moved to Spring Hill, TN in search of a less-political and more wholesome place to live.  We think we found a good area so far!   I'm not new to shooting but years ago sold off all my firearms.  I'm looking to buy a few so I'd like some suggestions on local stores.  I'd of course love some recommendations on ranges too.   I also have some questions regarding TN laws and firearm purchasing (i looked over the FAQ but didn't see any answers):   1)  What IDs do I have to present when purchasing from an FFL? 2)  Are private party transfers legal without using an FFL or paying a transfer fee (so long as both are residents of TN). 3)  Are there any transportation (of firearms) laws I should be aware of? (in VA it was very lax and guns could be transported loaded and not locked up - even just sitting on the dash of your car)     Thanks!
18. New member here and a fan of CZs and all clones of CZs.  There are quite a few clones out there and I haven't really heard of anything bad of any of them.   I have personally owned:   CZ75b (turk military contract) CZ97b P-01   I only had some issues with the CZ75b.  Apparently the turk contract guns weren't as highly finished as the commercial versions.  They'd be a bit sensitive to some ammo since their chamber was not polished and a tad tighter.  Most ball but steel cased stuff fed well.  I did get hang ups with some aggressive hollow points also.  The other two functioned great.  The 97b did have a mag that didn't seat well but that was just a matter of opening up the area where the mag release made contact.   Since I owned my CZs in my younger (and much dumber) days, I sold them off.  Since I'm back in the market for a handgun, I'm looking really closely at the Canik Shark FC.  What is also neat about Caniks, is they have a model (S-120 i believe) that has the rounded trigger guard like the non-B 75.  They also offer the L-120 which is the same but with an alloy frame.
